Good Choice for Family in Travestere

The location is great if you're into lively nightlife. And with air conditioning, you can shut the windows and drapes and the noise is not disruptive of going to sleep. The room was fine, nice newly appointed modern bathroom. The man who came in the morning to make us coffees and supply our breakfast was really nice and helpful. And there is a great gelateria right next door. (Also a really great dinner spot across the street and down a couple doors. Forget the name, but they sell homemade pastas – high tables with stools, DELICIOUS not expensive food.)

As I've read from others, when you arrive, there is no staff on site. It isn't really an "Inn" as you might expect, more of a rental apartment that has been cleverly converted to three rooms and a shared common room w/ kitchen. This should maybe be clarified. Also, I could not reach the owner on the phone – even borrowing another person's phone with an Italian SIM AND the gelateria's land line next door – no dice. I only reached him with kindness of friends and neighbors. I think he could improve easily just by emailing the details on how to get in as soon as you book. It wasn't complicated. Also, I would pay a bit more for a slightly nicer breakfast - fresh croissants instead of packaged ones, and a bit of fresh fruit would add a couple euros each and I would definitely have paid for that.
