Beautiful sea views located within easy walking of central Helier downtown. Quiet ie away from traffic noise. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good size rooms.
Dining room staff are friendly but their method of how they take food orders and eventually deliver the food is strange and inefficient. Too many people are involved ie different staff show up as the meal progresses to again ask you what you want as your next course ( eg. two different waiters asked us what we wanted as the main course when we had already made the selection with our initial order) and a different person was involved in the delivery. We had to ask for our bill 3 times from 3 different people before finally deciding to go to the til to pay. I asked whether it was normal to ask to have the bill brought to the table and was told the choice was ours. The food was good.
The hotel is located in an excellent central position with very helpful and friendly staff. The city certre is a walk away as is the ferry port. We had a wonderful stay.
Excellent food, well served.
The heating/air conditioning system, which was difficult to control, leading to disturbed sleep.
Lovely room, great ocean view, freindly staff at spa, good bar area,
Very average breakfast, staff on reception and in dining room not very freindly or helpful, waiting room for spa area felt like a dentist's surgery, treatment rooms very claustrophobic
The location was perfect, the cleaniless was excellent. The breakfast was first class with plenty of choice. My partner and I would gladly visit again.
We liked it all!!
The view of the harbour was excellent both from our room and the bar area.
The scrambled egg on the breakfast buffet looked as if it was composed of chopped up boiled eggs from the previous day.
I liked the location (being close to both the harbour, st. helier and the bus station). I wouldn't really recommend it for a long stay with children, as the pool was quite small and not really aimed at children. The Merton Hotel is where we usually stay (when travelling with the children) and that is fantastic for them. However, for adults only the Radisson and The Royal Yacht are both fantastic for a stay in Jersey. The rooms are excellent and beds very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful too.
The mini bar only had two bottles of water in it. That's about it really!
Staff extremely helful
Didn't like having to wait to be seated for breakfast, especially out of season
Nice quiet and relaxing hotel where you could chillout
all the staff were polite and nothing was too much trouble. the food was excellent. the standard room we had was 1st class. well done
it would have been nice to have had a nice draft hand pull beer as an option in the bar.
The view overlooking the harbour and the buffet breakfast. The sauna and steam room were an added welcome after a days' walking
The smell of fish in the evening as you enter the lobby. This was every evening and not very pleasant
