Very a cool Place
This place was very nice, alittle over price I think but great.
Everything closed very early. Bar and restaurant closed to early for this being a "stay within" place.
Great weekend getaway
The pool setup was great. Our kids had so much fun playing on the waterslides at the pool and loved the s'mores at night. Even though there was plenty for the kids to do, it was still a great spot for adults, too. Had a wonderful weekend and would definitely go back.
I did a staycation here and loved it! I love the location of this resort near the La Cantera Mall and the Rim shopping center. The adult only pool was nice, especially in the morning when it was cooler in the day and quiet. The pool attendants were very attentive in asking us for any orders we wanted. The grounds of the resort itself are beautiful. I love the back terrace as a place to sit and chat during the cool evening. There is plenty of seating to enjoy the scenery. Enjoyed a movie on the lawn one night under the stars, which was also a fun touch.
Valet almost tboned my car as we were driving to self parking. He pulled out of their drive so fast. Was difficult to get the front desk personnel to pay attention to us. There were always multiple people staffing the front desk, but they would avoid looking at you and would not offer assistance. Twice I had to interrupt two front desk employees talking to each other in order to get assistance.
Not at all worth the money
Very little below arvarage for any resort
Vacuum running in the halls st 1:45 am House keeping banging the carts against the walls. Double charged room sevice fee. Served cold food! Overall poor service ! No door man Very slow valet Employees were rude and arrogant not warm or friendly.. Never again will i visit nor will i recomend to family or friends
Fabulous facility in a beautiful setting. Friendly and efficient staff.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The surrounding landscape was beautiful to view. Actually breathtaking from some directions.
What we didn't like...the beds were too firm. Had a hard time sleeping because of it. Also if you don't plan to use any of the amenities, don't stay here. The reason why I say this is because you are charged high resort fee. We never used any of the amenities and had to pay this fee. The valet is a separate fee. If you park yourself its a very long walk from the parking lot to the entrance.
A Wonderful Experience!
We were upgraded to the VIP floor! It was wonderful! Great breakfast!!! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. View was amazing. The weather was cold and there were only 4 people in the pool. The water slide was scheduled to open at 10:00. I asked a young man (staff member) walking by if it would open as scheduled. It was about 20 minutes to 10:00. He kindly offered to open the slide at that moment. There were s'mores in the evening. We parked in self parking. The very attentive attendants took us to our car in a golf cart, which was really fun for our daughter and an extra chance to enjoy the views!! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the resort. Next time we will stay longer. Some reviewers said resort was looking old. We thought it was fantastic. After renovations this resort is going to be out of this world!!!
We ate at Francesca's. The food wasn't anything special. My soup was cold. I said that my daughter and I would share a burger, the waiter split it for us and put it on two plates! That was a nice touch. I am picky and generally don't like restaurant food, so others may find the food good.
Fantastic view of the hill country, with excellent pool side service.
It took housekeeping almost the entire day to clean our room. One day it didn't even get cleaned!!!
