If you don’t mind being surprised with last minutes fees and charges, advantage rent a car is for you. I needed a 4 day rental for a drive to Denver, but since I lived in the same city as where I chose to rent the vehicle, I was only allowed150 miles, and everything over that would be charged 50 cents per mile unless I bought a mileage package. I had a guaranteed mid-size vehicle which I needed for extensive driving while in town. I arrived and only a minivan was available. After much arguing and waiting, and more waiting, a midsize came available.
