Cons: The fact that there was a 200 deposit due and the print was so tiny. Update that.
Cons: Reserved a mid-size suv. At pickup the only thing they had was a cargo van! Seriously it was that or walk. Got to drive that from San Antonio to Galveston. They made no effort on their own to fix the problem. After numerous phone calls i initiated I was finally able to exchange it 3 days later for a Ford Fiesta (only car available) 25 miles away. Horrible customer service and overall experience! Never again Hertz!!
Pros: Very helpful, quick to resolver the fact that they had no cars like the one we reserved.
Cons: The car had a unpleasant smell, not overbearing just there. Stale... lasted the whole rental period.
Cons: Reservation made on your site was not valid. No vehicle was available at the HERTZ location specified. Spent $50 for cab ride from airports to HERTZ location. Then searched for an hour searching for rental. Spent another $30 for UBER to Enterprise for rental vehicle.

Cons: I arrived at Hertz rental an hour before opening this past Monday on March 8 to be first to pick up the vehicle I prepaid for. Google listed them to open at 7:30am every day, however, a sign on the door showed they opened at 8am. We waited. The door was opened shortly after 8:00-8:01am. There were at least 4-5 people in line behind me. I was first through the door and immediately approached the counter. The salesperson greeted everyone and then asked if anyone was dropping off a vehicle. The lady that arrived about 30 minutes after me was dropping off. So the salesperson took her keys and went outside to check the returned vehicle which took around 7-8 minutes. She then returned to the office. A guy was typing something on the the same computer she previously sat at. He finished within a minute or two upon her return to the office. She told him to get the return keys from the drop box outside. Then she said to everyone that she was sorry, they were overbooked and had no vehicles to rent at the time. She said she would have to call around and that the Hertz office may not have vehicles until 1pm or later. My name was first on the printed paper she brought to the desk she sat at. She apologized a second time and offered to call everyone when she had a vehicle available. Not being able to drive off with the vehicle placed a huge damper on our schedule as we were hoping to be on the road at 9am. This failure sent us in a frenzy searching for an alternate place to rent from. I called and spoke to Hertz's customer service as well. The representative attempted to call the office that I had rented from, but they did not answer the phone. She also said she called other offices near my location with no luck of finding anything comparable to what I reserved. I asked for a refund and was told it would take 7-10 business days for processing. WHAT!!!??? So not only did Hertz ruin our plans and crunch our schedule by not honoring our rental, they kept our money too! Money that could have been used towards another rental company. Today is March 12 and I have yet to receive a refund. Not confident to do business with Hertz again because of this.

Cons: Pick was scheduled on Kayak after the Hertz office was closed. Scheduled for 5 pm pick up, office was closed early and gone by 5 pm. Was posted as closure at 6 pm. Difficult to cancel with Kayak.

Cons: Long lines with one person working counters for 3 to 4 rental companies then you have to go stand in another line to get car. The good deal you thought you were getting turned out to be very expensive considering didnt have a car at special price so the agent is trained to upgrade and charge you more for the car.
Cons: 24 hour key drop off.
