Cons:They didn't have the car we requested. They gave a "free" upgrade but required us to pay added fees. It took longer to pick up the car as they had many unhappy customers waiting.

I would like to have had the opportunity to complete the rental/purchase online. That would have alleviated the problem of taking an Uber to Hertz for a the pick-up, only to have the lady behind the counter tell me I can't use my credit card because it's also a debit card. I told her it's a credit card and I can run credit....when she holds her finger on my card and very arrogantly say's "seeeee.....it says 'debit' on it", pointing to the word debit, in an exaggeratingly slow voice (just to make sure I got it). Then she sits back down and goes back to Tetris or whatever on her computer and never once even looks back. I simply said "alright, bye"; and her response without another look was "bye!" Good thing there was an Avis right next door; and I won't be making the mistake of going to Hertz again. It wasn't just the poor hire behind the desk; it was the company's entire approach to almost blatantly ensure these types of problems happen.

When I arrived to Lima, they did not have the vehicle I reserved. This made the rest of our planned out trip very stressful as I had to wait a day for them to have the vehicle available and this set us behind by 2 days. We missed a lot of things in our vacation and we had to rush everything during our trip in order to meet the return deadline. This almost ruins our vacation. It didn't feel right when they added on the extra charge from going over the km count. Costed an arm and a leg. I don't think I will ever plan a rented car vacation trip after this.

Cons:When we dropped of the car at the rental facility at the outskirts of the airport at 8:30pm, there was no more free shuttle bus to the airport. So they made us taking a taxi, which cost almost 10 EUR.

Pros:The staffs at Memphis Covington Pike location are a bunch of slackers, they don’t take care of customers in a timely manner. They just take their time with one customer, be a slacker and don’t worry about the rest of the customers.

Cons:Hidden fees. Nearly doubled the cost. Representative at airport tried to convince me that the car I reserved wasn’t good enough so that I would pay more for a larger car. I have no trust in this company after this experience. I will be pursuing refund. Legal action if necessary.

Pros:Staff seemed bored with our problem. We got there and they said they had no record of our reservation. They checked by name and credit card number. So we decided to rent with another company but when I got home I found I had been charged for a rental even though we never got a car with Hertz.
Cons:Don't charge people for a car they never got!

Pros:Excellent Car/SUV for our rental. Very comfortable for my 85 year old Father-In-Law. He is a retired Firefighter with Parkinsons Disease & Dementia. Having a comfortable ride is very important with his physical & mental condition. Thanks Hertz for making that happen. You made his Christmas even more Special!!
