They have altered the terms of the agreement. Now, only a physical credit card is accepted. They've also changed the price for the insurance, and blocked $3,000 from our account. Additionally, the person in charge seems to be avoiding us.Reviewed 2026 Aug 31

Our rep in Zurich was wonderful… very kind lady who helped us have a great experience. There were long lines for check in but thanks to my Hertz Gold acct, was able to get handled quickly. Very much appreciated the upgraded vehicle. Cat return was also great other than not clear where to park in the underground garage… had to ask another company to direct me to the Hertz area. Overall, great experience… thank you!Reviewed 2025 Jun 15

The staff and car were wonderful. However there was a small scuff on one of the rims and I got charged $750 to fix it. Outrageous!Reviewed 2025 May 24

Everything was great, but the problem is, on the website it was showing 52 dollars for the car and 18 dollars for the base insurance. But when I went there I paid 100 francs for the car and base insurance.Reviewed 2025 Jan 14

The employees in Hertz were very polite and helpful. The only thing is that all insurance details were not shown in the Kayak app, and in my opinion the options should be implemented correctly because they are super useful for the customers.Reviewed 2024 Jul 19

They charged me EXTRA on my credit card BEFORE I took delivery of the car even after I was assured the payment was made in full ( no balance owing). Upon return of the vehicle, they found a very minor nick in the windshield. I have attempted to have this resolved over MANY emails and keep getting the 'run around", even after they admit that the overcharge at the beginning was their mistake. They have considered the case closed and are with holding the money they mistakingly charged to my account ( the money owed is more than a windshield repair ) I will NEVER deal with Hertz Rental again.Reviewed 2024 Mar 03
