I felt a lil duped. I purchased a standard SUV that said it would fit 4 people and 5 bags but when I arrived was told it wouldn’t fit and had to pay $40/extra for a car that could fit it. The standard SUV for hertz is actually an intermediate or compact SUV which is odd bc it’s normally much bigger than those. I would’ve rented from somewhere else had I known I wouldn’t get a standard that could fit us.Reviewed 2024 Oct 14

They did not have a car for me even though I successfully booked it. They told me they called and left a message but I had no missed calls and no messages. They said it was because I booked the day before but they waited until I showed up the next day to tell me there were no cars. Put me in a really rough spot and were super unfriendly. They charged me for additional fuel at drop-off even though I refueled before dropping car off. So don’t leave without confirming with the agent the fuel level and to get a receipt. Additionally, customer service is awful; I could not even call in to complain and get assistance. They just said to fill out an online form and email my issue and they would reply in 3-5 business days. But then how can they investigate my issue?
