This is a total fraud of a rental car place. Do not rent from here. They don’t take American Express they only rent to you if you have your insurance ( your own car insurance with you). This is a scam of a place. We left immediately and went down the street to rent with a reputable company Alamo.Reviewed 2024 Apr 14

Way too hard to get to their location, they took 30 minutes to get my car and required a huge insurance fee. Please don’t list garbage companies like this!Reviewed 2024 Jan 17

We were dropped off in the dark to an empty parking lot. Luckily a different company took pity on us and gave us a ride. Once we got to the rental company, we were told that any insurance that we had pre-purchased was invalid, including our own insurance which covered us, as well as our credit card insurance which covered us, as well as the additional insurance I put purchased through their website. They told us we had to pay an extra $369 USD in order to be able to rent the car. I was alone with my three children had already paid for the car rental and had no choice, but to pay the extra fees or be forced to be left in the street at night with my kids. That can really only be considered extortion.Reviewed 2024 Jan 17

My flight was delayed from Utah and when I arrived in LAX after 6pm and called their service line I was told they the lot was closed for the evening and that they closed at 6pm. Had I know that I would have never booked. Ended up having to book another rental for the weekend with Avis so that I could make it to Santa Barbara for my wife’s milestone birthday.Reviewed 2023 Dec 18

Pro: Fast, easy, cheap Con: Was hard to get to the Economy rental location, for a first time renter would have loved to have some warning about having car ins on hand upon p/u, would have liked to know about additional costs before reserving like: car ins cost, toll/express costs, additional driver cost, etc.Reviewed 2023 Dec 14

I was wooed by the cheap price online, but when I went to pick up the car they force you to buy their insurance for a ridiculous amount. Not worth the cost. And the car had stains on the seats. If I got the price that I paid on kayak it would have been fine, but the hidden charges pushed me over the edge and I will never trust this company again.Reviewed 2023 Dec 05

This is the worst car rental I have ever had: - The staff is only looking to make money, and has not heard the words customer service before. They charged me $60 per day for a mandatory insurance? I've rented in a lot of places, this is the first time that happened to me. We also happen to be 20 minutes late to our drop-off time, and they wanted to charge us a full day extra, which would have come at over $100+. This only got resolved after they called their manager and he waived that. - The cars brakes were worn down, so much so that it felt unsafe. The steering was pulling severely left and the car had close to 50'000 miles. On the plus side, the car worked and was quite gas-efficient.Reviewed 2023 Nov 22
