They charge me and they never gave me a car. I went there and they were closed. I needed a car I had luggage. I traveled all the way from New York. This was the worst experience in my life. Sixt's capacity to partner with a renter's existing auto insurance company is VERY limited. I have Geico auto insurance and they do NOT cover rentals from Sixt. This means that I MUST utilize Sixt's expensive rental car insurance. I wasted valuable time showing up to rent a the car I reserved from Sixt only to find out from my vehicle insurance company, Geico, that I would not be covered. The Sixt agent was cagey and dodged my questions about insurance coverage for my scheduled rental. PLUS they had none of the cars I had hoped to rent. I will not be using Kayak and DEFINITELY not be using Sixt for any future car rental needs. I wasted so much of my time dealing with this clusterf**k of a scheduled rental. I have a long memory and feel like I got burned by you . I ended up renting directly from Enterprise. Geico does provide insurance for their rentals.Reviewed 2024 Sept 26

Because of the terrible traffic jam in Los Angeles, I almost missed the plane. I left riverside to go to the airport, and the traffic jam took me 4 hours. I was really devastated. In the end, I was charged $200 for gas because I didn't have time to refuel, which really made me really so much sad.Reviewed 2024 Sept 24

very slow pick up at LA. The shuttle was small and not frequent enough. Crowds are waiting for Sixt. Once again when we finally reached the counter the waiting line was long. More than 80 min to pick up the car in total...Reviewed 2024 Sept 05

The customer service isn't exceptional, but it's adequate. This is a respectable car company, one of the few remaining in an industry often marked by dishonesty. The staff were nice and helpful. The car was nice and clean. But we did experience over 40mins of delay before the car became available.Reviewed 2024 Jun 10

This was the most pleasant car rental experience from start to finish. Our check in agent was so friendly and accommodating, the car was clean and easy to check in and out, and when our flight was delayed 12 hours they were so kind in extending our rental.
