Cons:The primary reason I use the Emerald Aisle is to provide quick access and choice among a selection of quality mid-size cars. With two Emerald Aisle rentals in a short period of time (Ontario, CA and Seattle, WA), I experienced a very limited choice of vehicles. Instead of mid-size cars, the Emerald Aisle only contained a choice of compact SUVs. At Seattle, this was almost all Jeeps. Not much choice, and certainly not mid-size cars. On the positive side, National's attendant offered to have a sedan brought up from somewhere else. On the negative side, this would have taken extra time and would still have not provided me with a choice of vehicles.
Pros:Great customer service. The car was good and clean. No surprise fees at the counter (it happened to me with other companies )

Cons:It would have been nice to know the full price I'd be paying for a rental car before landing in this foreign country fully dependent on getting it. I felt very mislead by the pricing I was given in the reservation. In Costa Rica, insurance is required and this was never mentioned in the booking process. Therefore I ended up having to pay over $400 (with an extra $800 held) for the car I expected to rent for $83. I just thought that was very dishonest by the rental car company and the booking company.
Pros:Separate hotel shuttle. We were on shuttle less than 2 minutes after dropping off vehicle.
