Love the hotel in general and rooms
Called ahead for an early check-in but ended up waiting about 3 hours before finally getting into a room and we were in a time crunch to make it to a wedding. Also we paid for parking but there was no parking available so we had to call someone to help us who instructed us to park in the handicap parking

The cleaning staff started they vacuuming right outside of the rooms at 5am. Also, none of the promises that were made to me in terms of service were taken care of. They lied to appease me and then no follow thru.

Central Location & very nice facilities
good distance to SD downtown, Torrey Pines Reserve and several beaches; also a gigantic outdoor mall across the street Breakfast & Happy Hour were very nice (included in room rate) Clean hotel & room
traffic in immediate area gets very congested during rush hour $30 for daily parking is steep!

I love the embassy suites, awesome breakfast, and happy hour.
Downsides are parking is $30, which is ludicrous, and you have to pay for WiFi, it’s 2018, that should be included for free

“I really enjoyed the look and feel of the hotel. Being welcomed by the pond and fish while heading up to my room was a really nice touch. The restaurant inside the hotel had amazing staff that made for a nice dinner experience! Little fire pits in the outside dining area created really relaxing vibes. Hotel breakfast was 10/10! The breakfast staff were quick, efficient, and made a delicious breakfast. It was packaged to go due to covid-19, but it was great! Also, the hotel is located in an area near convenience stores and restaurants. Overall a really nice experience.”
