Manager was accommodating when I complained.
No on demand movies; in room iPad for offering was dead. Toilet didn’t fully flush.
The staff were super friendly and very accommodating! The rooms were large and I loved the aveda bath products.
I wish they provided a few complimentary bottles of water in the room. Billing was a little difficult bc I booked several rooms and the names/correct cards were switched around.
We booked in advance and were told that the best price was around $258.00 a night,Big Lie. On the day of the trip your site said the rate was $158.00 and the next day it said $148.00. We asked to have our rate adjusted and were told that they had no responsibility as your site collected our money and paid them. Your statement about having the "BEST DEAL" was a total lie. I will never use your service again and I will warn everyone I know about your deception. We were overcharged about a $100.00 a day and stayed at the hotel for five nights YOU OWE US $500.00.
Great place to stay
The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Relevant and modern decor. Rooftop bar is nice with a great view into the stadium. Would stay again for sure.
A very nice stay.
The staff was very nice and friendly. They wanted to know where we were from and why we were there. As it turned out we told them that we were there celebrating out 44 wedding anniversary. When we got back to the room, after dinner, there was a bottle of wine and 2 lovely glasses waiting for us (compliments of the hotel). A totally nice stay. We will recommend the hotel if asked. We have already told several people what a great stay we had. The security is very good.
My wife likes to use the stairs for the exercise. They were meant to be fire escapes and exit outside and require an employ to enter from outside.
Proximity to downtown SD.
No pool, no airport shuttle.
I paid 42$ for valet because i didn't want to walk the 2 blocks away for self parking that cost 30$. It isn't the amount that bothered me the valet scratched my brand new 2016 highlander. None of the valets fessed up and I didn't notice until after i checked out and drove off.
Great staff and rooms!
It was a beautiful, well managed and well located hotel
I did not like that when I booked it said parking was an amenity. That made it seem like it was included. It would have been helpful to know that it only offered valet parking that is $41/night. That was a big shock when we arrived and a bit upsetting it was not mentioned before we booked
Great experience in downtown SD
Beautiful room (upgrade) Great location Friendly and helpful staff Excellent upkeep
Parking is high... better to use taxi/uber
Pretty impressed for a first time here
I love the location! The view was pretty good. Loved the room. I'm a huge fan of Aveda products and for them to have them there, was a huge plus! The friendly staff was great. Always greeting and always smiling. And the price was good. Great place to stay.
Not a big fan of $40 valet parking. I didn't like that they didn't offer smoking rooms. Also, I didn't like that you couldn't vape up stairs at their rooftop bar. Why we left to another roof top bar that did allow vaping. That was kind of a bummer.
Amazing hotel! aside from valet prices...
Clean, great location, nice room and a modern feel.
Valet is 41 bucks... Give me a break. Parked a block away for $15
The room and view we're great. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, I took pictures of the label to buy the same mattress for my self.
The valet parking Was over priced at $41/day. Especially since there is a garage 3 blocks away that is only $15/per day but I had a broken ankle and had to use their valet parking. Most of the time had to wait over 20 min one day they misplaced my car after about 45 min had to go with the valet to find my car in the garage. To the hotel's credit they were very apologetic and comped my valet parking fee for my entire stay so they still have good customer service in my book.
The hotel is well located, very comfortable and was of great value for $149/night !! The bar on the roof top is a +
The valet parking fee of $32/day is way to high especially that it is easy to park for much cheaper in the area.
Great location, fantastic knowledgable and helpful staff, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, lovely terrace on the 9th floor overlooking the Padres Baseball park - altogether a relaxed and cool vibe. It was so good that we stayed an extra night and were given a heavily discounted rate.
The valet parking was quite expensive - though being right in the city it is probably no more than others in the area. There did appear to be a few parking lots a short walk from the hotel.
Hotel Indigo provided a boutique style atmosphere with all of the amenities of a luxury hotel. While some things could still use some refining (bath linens of higher quality, more attention to detail in cleaning-particularly with dust on the hardwood floors) the overall hotel facilities and rooms were impeccable. We will certainly be staying here again...the location was perfect, we walked everywhere, enjoyed the people, and the Thai restaurant across the street from the hotel is amazing!
There was nothing we disliked about the hotel, just a couple of things we would improve: the bath linens were not of the caliber I would expect in an otherwise posh setting, they should be larger, softer, and better material; the toilet paper and facial tissue could also have been of a higher caliber to reflect a more rich atmosphere; and the room being accented with wood floors and dark wood furniture should be dusted daily to give a more crisp feel-but the room was in no way dirty; lastly, the valets tended to congregate in the walkway of the front doors and oftentimes were having personal discussions that weren't professional-- people are listening and they should keep it clean, while it didn't offend us it could have easily offended some
its a really lovely hotel with new facilities, the room is big and with vivd color, bed is big and comfy. a enjoyable stay.
The staff was extremely helpful - I left the directions to a wedding I was attending in my room and they ran up to my room, found the directions and then read them to me over the phone.
The bathroon shower needed to be a little cleaner for my taste.
The staff at this hotel were amazing! Everyone was so friendly. The Phi Terrace was a great feature at night. Watching the sun go down and the city light up was breathtaking next to the warmth of the firepits. If I have the opportunity to visit San Diego again, I will definately be staying here.
Great location, friendly staff
breakfast is a rip off, not good at all and xpensive
Got upgraded to a better room, beautiful view of downtown sd with its beautiful skyscrapers, beds very comfortable, also a terriffic bathroom.
When doing check-in hotel staff did not give a warm greeting, valet parking a bit expensive
