We (two adults and a toddler) stayed in the Himmelhof for two nights and even that I spent many nights in hotels in the alpine region, I cant remember one place being so pleasant like the himmelhof. Many of them were made like an "ancient" western austrian country house, but in no case it was so harmonious and so intend on the details. The personell and the owners were overwhelming friendly, and it seemed not as a must on the customers but also on a cheerful disposition.

A truly fantastic hotel in a great location. My wife and I stayed a week at the Himmlhof it was absolutely wonderful, the only negative was having to leave! The hotel owners Margherita & Sebastian could not be more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated in Tyrolean style. The breakfast is excellent and served by a the ever smiling and laughing Susanna. Downstairs the hotel possess an Aladdin's cave in the form of a fantastic spa, the perfect place to rest and relax after another invigorating day in the Austrian Alps.
