Pros (+) First, I really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Cumbres Lastarria. It is well located in a very trendy neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and wine bars. The view of the Andes Cordillera is breathtaking from the rooftop. The room is spacious and comfortable and really clean. The bathroom design is modern and pampering.
Cons (-) Some minuses: The restaurant was not really good as well as the breakfast which was a bit disappointing. There wasn't enough vegetables for example. This is also true that the hotel did not respond to my mails I sent regarding my future stay. Still I really enjoyed my stay. Is it a 5 star hotel, maybe not but it is certainly a boutique hotel that I can recommend.
Pros (+) The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. They all speak very good Engish and so so nice. The room was AMAZING, clean, comfortable, robes and slippers, bottled water, coffee, etc. The area surrounding the hotel is wonderful, safe, with many great restaurants and shops.

Cons (-) Reception staff needs to be friendlier. It felt cold checking in. Especially the men. There was one lady with an accent that was very nice when I was checking out.
