Group rates vs third party site rates
We went for conference for 3 nights, and there was a block of rooms for conference for group rating. I checked and was able to get a better room for $40/night cheaper through a third party booking site than the group rate.
I thought I had booked us a room with one queen bed and our room had two beds, I went to the front desk and they made an easy switch and gave us a gorgeous corner room with skylight. The skylight and panoramic view was awesome.
Everything was fabulous.
We chose a corner single queen room. When we checked in our flight was very late. We never got in until 2AM. We were then told it was a $15 charge for parking even though we were so late and when we drove underground there was ample parking. We then went up to our room and discovered they gave us a double queen room. I called down to the front desk and they said they couldn't do anything until 5AM. (Really after being stuck in Toronto airport of over 9 hrs due to delays and a 4 hr flight you want me to go to sleep for 3 hrs then wake up to deal with this.) I rav on and on to everyone I know how great of a stay it is at the radisson. The best pizza around and by far the best Caesar salads EVER, great location and great staff. We always stay in this hotel when I'm the city and around our anniversary. Last year the waiter even brought tears to my eyes when we came back to our room and had brought up a small plate with a not with strawberries wishing us a happy Anniversary from himself and the staff. But after this stay. My view point has totally changed the staff has totally gone down hill. I find that a stay is the best when the staff go above and beyond to make each person feel like they are a VIP stay. I felt like I was treated more like trailer trash.
Nice downtown location close to the beatiful Saska
Very nice, clean rooms
A little on the pricey side.
We sure liked the restaurant and its staff. Erran and Andrea went way above our expectations in dealing with our two 10 yr old grandchildren. They made our stay a whole lot more enjoyable. Also, of course, the swimming and the waterslides were a big hit, not to mention the close access to shopping!!
The parking was horrible due to all the parking slots were full and then trying to turn around then to find out no spots so had to park across the street.
The view from our room was amazing.
Had to pay almost $12 a day for parking. Should be complimentary for hotel guests.
the staff was wonderful the room was lovely
there was no cold water. even the water in the toilet was hot. maintenance said they fixed it and left me chocolates. but the water remained hot.
The room was decorated in a newer fashion and was a good use of space. Free internet was also appreciated.
The hotel was under renovation which unfortunately did not allow us to enjoy the hotel facilities. The restuarant was very nice but the pounding and beeping from backing up of machines during the renovation was very distrubing. We did not enjoy the hotel at all except to sleep.
location was good,
Web site should have stated that hotel was under construction and no pool available. Front desk could not even answer my questions because of noise very frustrating experience not happy customer!!!
They were able to take care of us even though they never received our reservation from booking.com
Pool/waterslide was closed for renos.
It is in the downtown area close to the business that we have there and I can walk to work.
They did not have a room reserved for us, they could not find anything with our confirmation number - they did end up giving us anoth3er room but were going to charge us more since it was a suite until I spoke up....The parking lot at this hotel is horrible!!
good location, nice lounge and food wasvery good. comfortable rooms
I had booked a king size reservation and upon arrivao the hotel changed the room to two queen. the sleep number beds are noit comfortable at all.
The reception staff gave us free parking across the hotel for the night/day. It was much appreciated.
There was only a smoking room available and the smell of smoke lingered in the bed linens - dissipated after awhile but was not pleasant initially.
