"One needs to decide if views or the hustle and bustle are more important." | (in 1 review) |
The family/staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is good high above Sorrento, but we had a car. Without a car you must rely on buses. The modest buffet breakfast was adequate. Free Internet access but the screen was not working so only wifi for personal laptop, if you had one.
The quality and quanity of cutlery, crockery, drinking glasses was poor. Although we had a 4 person apartment with cooking facilities there was no kettle, no easy way to light the gas, no dishwashing liquid or brush or cloth... maybe this was because it was th elast week before winter closing.
The best of the best, location, view, staff, everything was the best!
The food is the same every day,and when you book for more than 2-3 days is too boring.
After our room was changed to what I had booked, the view was the best.
The fact that they tried to put us in a corner room with now view at all and it had no circulation of air, therefore it smelled. They did move us but they were not happy about it cause they said they had to give us a room for 4 and didn't know what they would do the next day, not my problem.
The views from the balcony were breathtaking. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. The staff were always helpful.
Stunning views over the Bay of Naples. Helpful friendly staff. Towels and sheets changed daily. Shuttles to a good choice of nearby restaurants.Good value for money. Good bus service from hotel. Hotel car parking.
Difficult to find on the first day. Route instructions from Naples Airport were not optimal. Breakfast was fine but not great.
The View, Athmosphere, The house Cat, Pool, Easy to take the Bus,
some more things in the kitchen.
The View was amazing, quite possibly THE best view in Sorrento. Our room was beautiful and the concierge was very helpful. There were two very nice, family run restaurants that are available to pick you up and drop you off from the hotel.
The only downside to being up in the hills is that it means that you need to take a bus everywhere (15 min to center of Sorrento), unless you have a car or scooter. However, the buses run regularly and we felt that the positives out weighed this.
the views from both the room and the terrace, cleanliness of the room, the breakfast, the helpful staff, having a pool on site,
the position of the hotel in relation to sorrento, but then we would have not had such fantastic views, the bus service to and from sorrento was quite unreliable nad taxi's were expensive.
relaxed; pleasant, helpful and friendly staff; quiet location; great views
The hotel is nice if you want to stay out of Venice. The staff was really helpful giving us all the details for enjoying our trip. Nicely decorated.
The restaurant next to the hotel was not so good, even expensive. The walls are thin.
