Building and garden are fantastic. The waiters for the dinner took good care of us, very professional.
The swiming pool was open for children (ours were 11 and 13) only a very reduced period (apparently only from 14-17h), as if tourists are going to be in the hotel in that part of the day. The worst: this was apparently done to keep the "swiming pool members" (not customers of the hotel) happy and calm so they can have a quiet swim after their work.
good location, lovely grounds, although could do with some care and attention, beautiful old manor house.
staff on reception need need more customer care training, ignored my wife completely thoughout the checking in process, although better on checkout.
Nothing stands out .
The breakfast was every day was cold and very confusing having three rooms ,all the food should have been in one room not two.
Gorgeous hotel! My room was absolutely fabulous and comfortable. The bed was fantastic, bathroom was great. I have enjoyed my stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone without any hesitation.
Hotel staff were friendly, good location, spacious room after upgrade, child friendly, good gym
Hotel room could have been cleaner, pool times for children were limited
The Billesley Manor Hotel is a stunning place to consider staying in the UK. The property is set amidst 11 acres of parkland, and the manor itself is an Elizabethan manor house from the 16th century. The historic property is in a good location, and it could be an ideal place for many guests who are looking to spend a vacation in the area. It could also be a good choice for those who are visiting on business or who are attending an event. The smoke-free hotel is where Shakespeare wrote As You Like It. English, Italian, and Romanian are spoken.
The property has 72 rooms, and they have all of the modern conveniences that travelers need. The rooms have free wired and wireless Internet. Rooms have private bathrooms, showers, hairdryers, coffeemakers, a desk, and daily housekeeping.
The Billesley Manor Hotel offers buffet breakfasts for a surcharge each morning. The breakfasts are served between 7 am and 10 am. Yoga and Pilates classes are available on-site, and the spa offers many types of treatments. Some of the spa options include hot stone massage, facial treatments, manicures and pedicures, and deep tissue massage. Meeting rooms are available at the property, as is an indoor pool and fitness facilities.
Travelers will be steps from All Saints Church, and a short distance from Mary Arden’s House, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Some places to dine and drink are in nearby Stratford-upon-Avon. Consider the Shakespeare Street Cocktail Bar, Red Lion, and The One Elm.
