The food in the restaurant was divine both for dinner and breakfast
the pool and spa
alot of things i didnt like.like the room wasnt the room i booked for.the recpit was printed in the wrong name, not my name, shower was to small and also bathroom was to small.also beds werent good,it was two singles had to push the beds together.service was poor.
The room was large and well appointed - small kitchenette, large lounge, good size bedroom and bathroom. Everything you could want. Great balcony although a couple of blocks from the beach so not overlooking the beach - good view though down the Surfers strip. Breakfast good value at $15/head for guest (ask reception for voucher cards for the discounted breakfast buffet) - lots of choice of continental and hot breakfast options.
First room I was given had an air conditioner which sounded like a old dodgy fan, but reception was happy to move me. The room I moved to had a great air con. The TV made a high pitched whining noise for the first 5-10 minutes or so after it was turned on - was OK as noise went after it warmed up.
The size of an (ordinary) room was impressive; it included a full lounge-room and kitchenette as well as bathroom/toilet. I was also impressed at the helpfulness of a male receptionist on the night of my arrival when two washing machines in a row failed to operate.
The hotel sells a container of cow's milk at well above the ordinary retail price and charges twice as much as anywhere else does for access to washing and drying machines. These prices imparted a sense of opportunism rather than of customer service.
I liked everthing!
Comfortable and convenient location.Bistro breakfast good quality and value.
Room had Tea and coffee ingredients but no jug for water heating. Also no soap in bathroom
A sHORT walk to a patroled beach.. The breakfast was very good. The 2bed rooms were more than we expected.
Being woken up in the middle of the night with a fire alarm. Set off by single sex group and being aloud in a very nice family hotel
Even though we only stayed a few days we found A.S.h rooms very comfortable and well set out meeting all our requirements, the staff extremely helpful and professional, the pool area lovely and the buffet breakfast great. Also happy with the rates and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and stay again ourselves.
The room was quite private and there was plenty of hot water. Furnishings were generally comfortable. My room service meal arrived quickly.
The tv reception and choice of channels was poor. Internet was a fee for connection. The airconditioner could not warm the cold room. There were no extra blankets and when they were requested they took a long time to arrive and only then after a second call to the service desk.I Ordered one main meal and 2 arrived, which I paid for because I didn't look at the delivery tray when the room service arrived. Parking was inadequate for the number of guest rooms and the spare space was advertised as tow away zones. The decore is dated and really needs a vamp up. There was mould in the bathroom and the outdoor balcony was quite neglected and dirty. I kicked my toe on a door stop that was in the middle of the bathroom floor- It hurt!
they haven´t free internet. you shoud pay 6 dollars per 1/2 hour.
