Qantas onboard service/meals has degenerated to Budget airline standard transferred to Emirates in Sydney which only highlighted Qantas decline
Cons: "No vegetarian food option. Seat uncleaned. Last seat on plane separate from family with people constantly standing next to and bumping at toilets - little consideration fro Covid-19"
Pros: "Aircraft and crew service was excellent. Seats were not too comfortable"
Cons: "More leg room would have been nice for 14+ hours flight"
Pros: "Crew was OK, slow to respond to requests"
Cons: "The whole check in process was a joke, had a line up of 15 people and one agent"
Cons: "For such a long flight should have given us more water. But were responsive when asked."
Pros: "Quantas Entertainment app was great!"
Cons: "Quantas seems to have frequent gate changes. You have to pay attention. No WiFi in terminals despite posted signs."
Cons: "Lost 2 of 3 bags. Still don’t have them. Some staff very helpful and empathetic. Some staff very rude and abrasive. Didn’t want to take ownership and work to correct the problem. Had a “not my problem” attitude"
Cons: "I wasn’t given the seats I had chosen when purchasing the ($3,000) tickets. The seats in the “Dreamliner” were cramped and hard—uncomfortable."
Cons: "I told Nicole that my sound wasn’t working and I had tried with 3 different headsets. She just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Not good enough for the price you pay for Qantas. I travel with qantas all the time and have never received service like this."
Pros: "Boarding was quick and efficient."
Cons: "Checking online didn’t work. You could not request seats ahead of time and would tell you check in online and when you tried it would fail and told us to go to the airport which we did the day before and they told us they couldn’t do anything. Every agent told us something different about meal plans and seats. Crew onboard were not friendly and rude to us in economy. The vegetarian meal requested was awful and ended up being vegan which was not what we requested. When I asked for fruit plate off the regular menu the flight attendant never followed back up with me and so we didn’t eat any food for on a 15+ hour flight. Even though they had 100+ empty seats we couldn’t move around. Overall I was highly disappointed in their service on this flight."
crew as a whole is pretty mediocre. dont seem to care much for passengers. Asked 3 different crew for custom papers for immigration check in and they all said i could get it in the airport. have flown to india 3 times prior to this with Qatar and Emirates and they have always provided this paper ahead of landing to speed up the check in process. Also felt in general the crew is irritated and overworked. The one lady in my aisle from Chicago to Abu Dhabi was very pleasant but i was noticing the other crew were nice to each other but pretty cold with the passengers. Not what i usually have experienced from this type of overseas travel. Ive always felt the crew in qatar and emirates were overly sweet and pleasant but having seen the opposite this time i definitely prefer the former.
Pros: "Main meal (Singapore noodles) was actually ok."
Cons: "The cabin crew had a very difficult time dealing with the annoying passengers, who were mainly tourists returning from Abu Dhabi. They had a tough job, but it was all very negative and stressful."

Cons: "I paid for internet which constantly disconnected. Waste of money."

Cons: "Bathrooms covered in urine No offer of wake up call for breakfast by staff"
Pros: "The staff were great and very nice and helpful. It was very quiet in business class and we enjoyed that as economy was really crowded. The business class lounge was nice but needs a quiet area where people who have long layovers (like us) can lay down and have a darkened room for a bit of rest."
Cons: "The seat I was in was very hard and definitely needs more padding. My but was killing me during the flight but the cabin crew helped me by gin I got me 2blankets to fold up and sit on. The pillows are way too big and hard. I recommend paring them down the size they currently are. I was in seat 7-E. The business class bus was last to come so we waited for a long time to get to the plane. Most of economy was boarded before us. But not really a big problem as we did get on the plane with no problem."

Cons: "No entertainment options. Late departure & when we arrived early the local ground services company did not expect us & we were delayed at the gate for 30 minutes before disembarking!"
Pros: "The seat was huge my cabin was very large The bed was comfortable The service with Real China steaks and fries was good"
Cons: "They kept asking me if I wanted every ten mins"

Cons: "food choices and entertainment choices. Most of the people book return flight on the same month. If the choice are same in a long haul flight they get bored with entertainment choices."
