Cons: The staff were not friendly. I requested for earlier check in but was denied. The staff knew that we were waiting for the room. However they told us that the room was still not available at 2:53pm, just seven minutes before their standard check in time. At 3pm, when I was checking in, the staff went away for almost 10 minutes and never said a word why she went away nor apologized for her delay. For star hotel with one star staff/service.

Pros: close to the airport and what worked was new - pity not much did work
Cons: sockets in room did not work, phone system did not work, no turn down service, wifi no existent - uncaring senior management who felt that because we had been upgraded into an expensive room category we should be grateful to be staying in a room that did not actually work, that had paint and decoration debris ground into carpet and chairs - this place is being sold before it is finished for an extortionate price and is just a plain RIP OFF from start to finish- appalling - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Pros: Great location right on the beach and close to everything (everything in Guam). Nice pool area. Friendly staff. Nice view from the room.
Cons: Hyatt charged my credit card an additional $400.00 post checkout. I'm disputing the charge but they are very slow to respond/investigate. My res was paid in full on on booking so they made a serious mistake. The hotel is kind of run down, stains all along the carpet and the rooms are damaged and slightly dated. Stained walls, furniture, hallways, light fixtures etc. Not well maintained ir clean as one would expect at a Hyatt. Especially for the price.

Pros: When we first started to check in they told us we were getting a twin room when we had reserved and paid for a (non-refundable) King. it’s the classic “availability” fiasco seen so often with hotels these days. In my opinion I’d i book and pay for an “available” King room i will get a king room. Fortunately after a bit of insistence we were given the room we originally booked. Frustrated, but satisfied.
Cons: Close to the beach, good clean room with ocean view. Didn’t appreciate the run around on availability of the actual room I originally booked. But it worked out.

Pros: Loved the wellness center. Great classes -- only wish I could have taken more of them. Wide range of equipment, and plenty of it. Ample poolside space, with several different pools. if you don't find a chaise longue at one spot, there's plenty more. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Great location on a fantastic beach within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. The beach is super safe and the water clear, great for swimming, snorkeling, and paddling. Staff was great. Bed was nice.
Cons: Old property in need of lots of refurbishment. Not nearly enough beach chairs even though there is plenty of room for more. Also only two umbrellas. They really give little attention to this area and it is an easy fix. Pool/beach bar is ridiculously expensive. 9$ for a can of beer. And there is no beach service. Overall, there are a lot of little things about this place that are annoying given the price point and brand, and most of which could be easily fixed. Hence, you get the impression that this is not a cared for location.

Cons: I booked last minute and the room was $300/night. Upon booking, I was told that check in was at 3pm. However, at 3pm the room was "not ready". Eventually 45 minutes later, when I again approached the front desk she offered a room with a Partial Ocean view, which related to a tiny sliver of water. This sliver could be viewed from the ledge, the hotel referred to as a balcony, which was approximately 4ft wide and 8 ft long. Not long enough for furniture so it was barren. The room was nice enough, though it was evident that the cleaning crew had worked hastily; nut shells on the floor, random debris under the bed. All in all completely not worth what I paid. I was highly disappointed.

Cons: The stupidity of the employees, the horrible rock hard beds, the lil old security guard running around trying to be a hero, the fact that the TV was the size of a lap top and you couldn't hook up any input because of a blocker they had on it, the fact that you would call the front desk for help with something and they would just say "I sorry", " I don't know "!

Cons: The location of the toilet paper holder seems oddly located- essentially behind you; had to do a sitting (on the toilet) twist. The rooms are off a central (un-air conditioned) space, so until you get to your room- it is still warm.

Cons: Upon entering the hotel you notice the air feels just like outside; hot. When we got up to our room, it smelt like your grandmas moldy basement. The bathroom was outdated, rusty, and just felt dirty. The tube TV (yes, still has tube TV's in our room) had buttons pushed into it. After coming back one night we noticed we had an ant infestation which caused us to have to move rooms. The room we were moved to was HOT and even stayed hot after cranking the AC down to 60. The bathroom was even worse than the first one. After leaving the ant infested room, my wife and I (two days married) could not sleep due to the feeling of ants crawling on us after being so disgusted from the first room. On our first day we walked down to the pool and both told each other there was no way we were getting in it. The appearance just gave that dirty feeling. While the staff was very friendly, you only deal with them for 10 mins out of your entire stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guam.
