Cons: They didn't clean our room everyday. One day all they did was make the beds. No trash was taken out and they didn't vacuum the floor. With two toddlers in diapers the trash needed to be emptied every day and the floor vacuumed.

Cons: the cost - one night 197.00 way too expensive

Cons: There were some fees that brought the nightly price from what I thought was a real bargain, right up to lots of other places in the area that I usually stay. I'm sure the fees were disclosed somewhere when I booked the room online but it raised the room price quite a bit compared to the $93 per night (plus fees) I thought I was paying. It seemed a tad sneaky to me and I wouldn't stay here again because of this.

Cons: Rooms and bathrooms were small. No fan in bathroom-hot. Bartenders were rude.

Cons: The only negative thing about our stay was that our room was not ready for us to check in until about 4:40, and check in was at 4:00. Not a big deal since we were able to hang out by the pool while we waited.

Cons: Unable to get into our room until 1 hour after hotel posted 4pm check in time. Front desk representatives appeared empathetic, but didn’t help getting into our room. Frustrating considering we arrived at the hotel at 11am. Meal wait times at Sloppy Joe’s and the Cafe were horrible. Took 1.5 hours to get our meals at Sloppy Joe’s on a Sunday night. Then took an hour to get breakfast orders served and one order never arrived until we complained to manager. Then when it arrived it was wrong. Must have been a bad morning because other guests were also having similar issues. First and likely last visit we make to the Bilmar Beach Resort.

Cons: The front desk was very subtle, beware of stingrays and surprise charges. Paid $134.40 plus $15 and got the worst room in the resort, dark, dingy room with no view whatsoever, they had mentioned that it had a pool view, not thru the window but thru the door peephole. Walls on both sides plus small windows. The facilities were good, the room was very clean but found couple of live roaches. The rooms are noisy. On checkout they charged me a resort fee of $15 plus tax for parking and amenities, which they never mentioned at booking, check-in or in the fine print. They say complimentary parking but they get us somehow or the other. I had 4 days off and was so glad that I stayed only one day, they are several great places nearby. I saved some money there. The beach was great and had lot of fun. The weather was excellent. The food at the restaurant was ok, I had to get the bill corrected three time – watch out like a hawk. Money greedy people. Not worth the money.

Cons: They should install pneumatic wheels on the hotel laundry and housekeeping trolleys -- they make an incredible amount of noise going past your room on the brick corridors, and always seem to be busiest when we are trying to nap!

Cons: We booked our room and we're charged but when we arrived there were no rooms available and I still have not received my refund...which did put us on a bind that was 500 dollars that we didn't have for the rest of our trip...very sissappoints

Cons: Didn't have beach towels first day, had to pay extra for beach chairs, coffee wasn't good. I never could hook up to the wifi, and it wasn't my computer/skills. Nothing fancy here, just basic.

Cons: The room was very plain and beds were hard. It also had an odd smell not including the smell of smoke after being cleaned by the staff.

Cons: Mattress was pretty hard and the loud neighbors could be heard late into the night.

Cons: A few plumbing issues that were quickly resolved.

Cons: Bathroom very dated and not very clean: tub and sink were peeling, rusty, and had a greenish buildup around all of the fixtures. Found more strands of hair than I'm comfortable with and towels provided had a few stains. Security of room doors was lacking: sliding door to balcony (with stairs leading to the ground) locked with only a pin in the top corner, deadbolt on the main door to the outside was falling out of the door and did not lock at all- the only lock on this door was the simple twist lock on the door knob. Maintenance attempted to fix the deadbolt once. After a few hours it still wouldn't lock.

Cons: Needs updating especially bathrooms very small also rate was wrong when we checked in that was adjusted also when we got to the room the front and back doors were wide open very weird never saw that before the room was extremely hot due to this and took a very long time to cool down, mentioned this to staff and the just apologized I guess working for Marriott for over 25 yrs I have been spoiled
