Location.
The bathroom was disgusting: the wooden door paneling had rotted away, holes were punched in the wall, surfaces were unclean, water covered the entire floor and took hours to drain or evaporate. There were bugs (large millipedes). The wifi was too weak to work. The cleaning staff did what they could, but clearly the management had never spent anything on maintenance and never will. As it was high season, we could not find anywhere else to move to.

The hotel is well situated and easy to find. Its just a few minutes walkaway from St Marks Square, which made it easy transporting our luggage from the water bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
