One of the nicest hotels in Victoria; smaller and quieter than the Empress and not quite as expensive. Of course it is some distance from downtown.

Best Stay in Victoria w/ Spa
Very beautiful hotel. Room was very spacious and gorgeous, and small kitchenette was still very useful with full set of plates, glasses, and utensils. Their ocean-front mineral pools are simply great with its view. We didn't have a chance to take any massage service this time, but their Spa facility was nice and beautiful as well. We also enjoyed the food and drinks a lot at their pub. Definitely recommended for nice relaxing stays in more adult/mature atmosphere.
At Mineral pools, the large pool could be warmer in winter season as it gets freezing to get out of the pool... In the meantime, hot tubs were nice and hot, but due to their small sizes, they can instantly get occupied with group of people, which makes other guests hesitant to join and stay in the less-warm pool for a long time. Also it'd be nice if how-to-order drinks at the pool was informed more clearly. When we saw other guests enjoying their drinks, we really wanted to order some for ourselves as well. But we didn't know how, so we just waited for the server to come to the pool. Finally in the morning of the last day, we found out there was a inter-phone with drink/food menu located near the gate, which was too late for us :( For the nature of the hotel's very adult/mature atmosphere, I personally felt it'd be kinda nice to actually make it Adult Only. Of course it's also nice to see cute little children enjoying their stays as well, but when I see them jumping into the pool (right in front of No Diving signs, and parents never stop them) or hear them screaming (calling mom), it's a lil turn-down for us. But it's very personal preference, so we do respect hotel's policy. Otherwise, we loved the hotel and definitely come back for next time!
