the location was great. north of most hotels which made for a less crowded beach. the pools were filthy, never saw anyone skim/clean debri from top of water. there was also a film of lotion or something on top of the water.i also found fresh blood under my sheets which flaked off when i pulled them back.luckily there were 2 beds. the worst part was the roaches. saw a roach 2 nights in a row. diffe...

Pros (+) The location couldn't be more ideal. The rear opens up to the beach and there was a great amount of privacy It was unfortunate that the weather was terrible.
Cons (-) Unfortunately, the bad severely outweighs the good. First when I checked in, I was sent to the wrong room which was already occupied. Don't know why how that could be mixed up. There are two towers and we were placed in the ground floor in the older tower. I had already put in a request for a non-ground floor room, but clearly that wasn't honored. Pros (+) Beach was nice surf club ocean grill restaurant food was great
Cons (-) Pool was a swamp, rooms were unfit and nasty, we had to be moved to a different room and it wasn't any better I could go go on but needless to say they ended up discounting our stay by 25% but should have comped the whole stay

Pros (+) They upgraded us for free. The oceanfront view.
Cons (-) Housekeeping rarely came. Never could get them to change the bedding or sweep the floors. The place was very dirty. Elevators stopped working at times. Had to ask housekeeping multiple times for towels and toilet paper.

Pros (+) The view of the beach was amazing
Cons (-) Visible water damage and smell of mold. Overall dirty feeling, especially for high off season price I expected more. Beds horrible. There was a metal part of the bed frame that stuck out and hurt me and my child.

Pros (+) They gave us connecting rooms as requested. All the staff was a delight.
Cons (-) My husband and I came with our son and his family. This was the grandchildrens first time at the ocean. We ask for an earlier check in when we booked but no one at the desk had record of it. I emailed them and also spoke to them weeks prior to coming. Also the indoor pool was closed. This was one of the reasons we picked the hotel. Very disappointing for the kids.
