Awesome Location and Wonderful Hotel
The hotel was in an amazing location. Near all the great restaurants, shops and nightlife of Logan Circle and U street. The hotel room was HUGE and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also huge.
The only downside is they couldn't accommodate a late check out, but that is okay.
Love the hotel, not quiet the place for kids
While the hotel is great and very comfortable, the food is not the best options for a family are not so varied. We were mostly in and out and come back to relax for an hour and sleep. The only time we stayed in, the kids moving around caused disturbance. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a family with small children. While the food in the hotel is better for adults, there are also wonderful options in the vicinity of the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a car, parking fee is exercise. Uber your way around. The Uber fees are low thanks to the centric location.
Sharp decor and friendly staff
Nothing to dislike
Overall, the size of the room is larger than normal, nice marble bathroom, and typical Kimpton touches (decor, linens, and toiletries) add up to an excellent option for a stay.
Room was either hot or cold and the HVAC system leaked soaking the carpet.
Tucked Away Gem
I love that this hotel is in a quiet residential area but just a few minutes walk from so much! The staff were pleasant even though they were completely swamped- Sunday check out time. If I ever need to come to Logan Circle again I'd absolutely use this hotel. The TV is huge. The shower has excellent pressure and the bathroom is overall beautiful. Completely enjoyed my stay here.
A great place to stay in DC!
The King Junior Suite was really large and very comfortable for the few days we stayed there. The front desk staff were very knowledgable of the area and very efficient with check in/check out. The bathroom amenities were great and you could get anything else you might have forgotten from the front desk. They also had complimentary wine from 5pm-6pm! The location was also really fantastic in which you were about a mile away from most of the sites so it is a quick walk or Uber. The rooftop patio is also incredible! I highly recommend this hotel!
Nice area, rooftop is nice, awesome beds.
Bathroom door did not shut.
Air in restroom
Hope this hotel finds its balance.
Remarkable graciousness of all staff, well-appointed room.
Overreach and missteps on the part of front desk staff; check-in was bumpy and dragged on.
Not as expectations
Room was beautiful and luxury . I love the details
The staff were sucks . We stayed 5 hours at the lobby waiting our room . They told us we are sold out and don't have any available rooms . While we are booked our room 30 days before our booking date . After 5 hours they told us : we just received your payment you can take a room .
Modern, clean with friendly staff
The room was wonderful and the staff was amazing.
Booked this room through Kayak and specified 2 adults and a child. The room we were given only had a king size bed. The staff was able to change our room to accommodate a family of three during spring break.
Everyone was incredibly friendly. The service was just out of this world.
Great hotel. Good position. Good staff. Perfect.
I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was definately more social and less like other hotels. It was a great experience.
I love the the original amenities in the mini bar. At the beginning we didn´t really know what to expect from the whole place due to the whole decoration being so rare and original, but we ended up enjoying it...the atmosphere is a lot of fun.
There was no lotion available in the toiletries. The room service hours were kind of limited. There were some really nice people in the staff but some others looked a little annoyed and just too eager to go home.
the decor was very interesting, the staff was very helpful and even went so far as to look up metro delays for us as we sat in horrible traffic.
there was a dirty washcloth in the bathtub when we checked in and there was no vending available that i could locate.
Very nice hotel and attentive staff. Made us feel very welcome and the decor was very nice. Free champagne at night was a nice touch! Had a room we could keep our bikes in which was nice.
No coffee in room, no real desk to work on were my only gripes. Nice big flat screen but no HD TV was a bit of a disappointment (although have been in other hotels with same set up). Not a big deal, though, locale was nice and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I had a big room with a big bed, enjoyed watching TV from the sofa.Overall, I enjoyed the room.
Do not serve free breakfast
Excellent attitude amoung all employees. Very welcoming.
Had to wait over 2 hours to check in.
