it was close to the shops and warm and dry
rooms were not as big or nice as looked on website.
Lovely place to stay - staff were very kind and helpful and the room was very nicely decorated.
Marie, the lady in charge, was very helpful. As it was a city guest house, it was good for shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The shower was very clean and loved the shower gel/shampoo. Marie was able to cancel as we left a day early without a charge; much appreciated.
We did not know that the parking was a distance away; difficult for getting to, tho Marie offered to take us down to our car. I thought there was a spa available, but not so. I thought it was a country place from the look of it, but it was city and not what I intended to stay at. We thus had to cut short our stay as there was not a twin bed room availble, tho one was on the top floor and my friend could not go up staris very well. It is not for disabled; we thus did not get our "lake view", which is what I was hoping for. The price seems to be high compared to what we stayed in in Stirling, Scotland. Same price, but not as elegant. Belsfield is good for low budget, tho the price was high; probably because it was city/lake accessible.
The location is very good, the b&b clean and tidy. We stayed in the double or twin room which had a large double bed plus a single. Breakfast was nice too.
The bathroom was small, but functional. There was just enough room for a shower toilet & sink. Possibly a little on the expensive side...
