Cons:They had the reservation wrong - was changed promptly night shift front desk man was extremely rude and unhelpful. No mini fridge.
Pros:The front evening staff was very professional and helpful! My 15 year old and arrived around 3:00pm and the young woman who checked us in was very helpful with local attractions and the motel itself. I'm overall pretty picky with where I sleep, but this was a last minute trip and I was happy with our stay. Great free pass to the local waterpark too.
Pros:It was located really close to downtown.
Cons:We could hear the people above us walking all night. The room smelled and their were hairs on the towels. For $170 I was expecting something much better. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in that was more then $100.
Pros:A decent super 8 off interstate. The motel was clean throughout, my room was a bit smaller than usual but I didn't realize at first that it was a handicap room, most noticeable is that the hangers are positioned very low, when hanging my shirts, they almost touched the floor, not a problem but not what I expected. The bathroom was larger than normal, again because this was a handicap unit. The shower was very good, water pressure excellent.
Cons:The breakfast was very plain, cereal, toast and waffle maker, but again this is probably normal for super 8. The girl at the front desk needs to have a lesson in guest relations however. When I went to check out, the desk clerk's attitude was very unprofessional, she didn't smile at all, acted as though she didn't want to be there. For a young women working the front desk in the morning she should have had a more professional attitude. Maybe she just wasn't trained properly by the owner. I used to work the front desk at a hotel years ago and was taught how to be courteous and polite to guests at all times. Maybe she'll learn over time.
