Position is ideal for seeing Barcelona. Very close to the cathedral and many other historic buildings.10mins walk from Plaza Catalunya so very convenient for tour buses etc.Clean sheets and towels daily and room cleaned. Comfortable beds and constant hot water. All the staff we met were extremely helpful and all spoke good english. We speak Spanish, but not everyone does so it was a plus I thought.
Not really the hotels fault but the little street is quite scary in the dark. Also, as previous reviews have noted the walls are very thin. If you had rowdy neighbours it would be a problem.
Location is good.
The hotel located on a pedestrian street, and taxi cannot reach it. You have to carry your luggage through old town and spend a lot of time trying to find it. Rooms are small, old and bad furnitured. No breakfast. No window (formaly there is one, but it faces a wall in 1 meter). Noisy toilet. Bad noise isolation - you hear when your neighbors go to shower or toilet. No wi-fi in rooms.
It was clean and very central. They ordered a taxi for us to the airport. They had very good english.
The safety deposit box didnt work and couldn't be fixed so we had to bring our passports and valuables everywhere.
Location is excellent, it is in the center of the Barri Gotic, you can walk around and visit lots of beautiful places.
My room had no windows, so it was a little weird and boring, with no TV, radio and no views. There was only one socket in the bathroom to plug and charge batteries.
It is an old charming building in a very interesting historic neighborhood of Barcelona. They have an elevator. It is all very spartan.
The electrical outlets were way up high on the wall, so I could not re-charge my camera. I had to hold the hairdryer in the plug with hand and dry my hair while I stood on a chair. They have no tissues, hairdryer, toiletries, or little extras. very spartan
The hotel's location is the best feature. The hotel was a clean place to sleep which suited our needs.
