We are much satisfied with the stay at Beijing Ocean Hotel; Having found no visitors' reviews, we were quite concerned about it; however, the reality made us very pleased: great location (one min to a subway, three min to Wangfutzin), diligent & polite staff, cleanliness & design, etc.)

The only issue was that no windows open in the room; aircon works well but we as a family prefer not to use aircon and have a fresh air out of the windows.

Hotel is close to Wanfujing and shopping area in Beijing. Reasonable access to subway. Jnr Suite is large with modern decor. Staff were friendly and helpful, with reasonable English for travellers.

Breakfast selection very limited for non-Chinese guests.

The staff was very helpful.

the heating system did not work in our room so it was quite hot, but the staff did try to work it out. Maybe not the nicest area when it was in the middle of the business area and it was not many restaurants in the neighborhood. But good walking distance to the forbidden city etc. The breakfast was very bad for a 3 star hotel.

No, bad experince, staff was so uncooperative, I have never experienced such useless staff at reception.absolutely worthless experience.

Breakfast was one star hotel status.staff at reception was cluless about hospitality business.
