Spa was amazing. Whirlpool and pool were fabulous. Staff were super friendly.
Food from room service was not great. (Super minor complaint!)
Great view from the top floor and lounge great to relax in with a drink, although I used that less than previous visits, spending more time touring instead. Well appointed room, and lived the alarm clock/radio/phone with built in charging cables.
Bed was a bit harder than I remember most Intercontinental beds to be, and so I struggled to sleep on my side. Water in the shower seemed to cycle unexpectedly between expected temperature, hot and cold. Was not quite on the same par as the Singapore club lounges with personal recognition on returning subsequently to the lounge during the visit.
One of the best in Berlin!!
Spacious rooms, great breakfast, amazing swimming pool. All of that right in the center of Berlin. I recommend it to every traveler!
Nothing to dislike ...
Breakfast selection was excellent, staff very friendly and polite, rooms very clean and spacious, bathroom spotless and excellent size
Prices in mini-bar
The pool area was excellent. Hotel very nice and comfortable.
I thiught that there should be free wifi in the guest rooms and that the breakfast should either be included or more affordable.
The spa was very good. The Jacuzzi was great and the indoor pool sets such a relaxing atmosphere
The Reception, Concierge and Business Centre Staff responses and the room fit-out and the breakfasts were excellent.
Great hotel and got via Booking.com super price.
size of room
the special attention
Concierge were excellent but underestimated taxi prices to Schoenefeld airport considerably.
I thought the hotel was beautiful and the staff were brilliant, very polite and helpful. The food in the hotel resteraunts was delicious, if not a bit pricey, discovered on the last day of our stay, the hotel bar has a nice selection of food for half the price.
The only gripe i had with this place was the security guards who loved to look down their nose at anyone who was obviously not a business person, or in mine and my husbands situation, had tattoos and wore jeans. The house keeping are not shy about letting themselves into your room in the evening, (even when the 'do not disturb' light is on) and trying to give you chocolates and offering a turndown service for a fee. Seeing as we were on honeymoon, you can imagine our evenings were quite disturbed.
I was disappointed that there was a charge to use the swimming pool, as this was one of the reasons that we selected this hotel over similar ones. The area was also not the best for sightseeing.
The upscale InterContinental® Berlin hotel sits next to leafy Tiergarten Park, a pleasant walk from the iconic Brandenburg Gate. Choose an elegant room or spacious suite, swim in the inviting indoor pool and indulge in a treatment at SPA InterContinental. Entertain clients in style on a dedicated meeting floor or make an impression with a function in the ballroom. After work, sip cocktails in the Marlene Bar and experience gourmet dining in a chic 14th-floor restaurant with panoramic city views.
