Friendly and accommodating front desk staff
The staff was very friendly, attentive ands accommodating. They text me to see if they could be of service then produced the sewing kit I asked for when I lost a button...
I went up to check out the rooftop bar at 8:30 p.m. on Friday night and the door was locked, I was waved away by an employee who did not offer anything else, like if and when the bar would be opening...
The staff from the front door staff set the tone of excellence and was carried by all staff of this wonderful hotel! Excellent value and perfect location....will be back!
The service was great and the roof top bar was also pretty wonderful.
I had no problems with this hotel at all, I enjoyed my stay all around.
The hospitality staff were incredible! Provided my sister and I with great information, scheduled us for a cruise that was truly informative, and obtained a dinner reservation on short notice. I can't say enough about how helpful and welcoming they were.
Great location...but that's it.
The location was excellent. Right off of Michigan Ave. The beds were comfortable.
The hotel needs some updates. The only thing that made it 'Hip and trendy" was the decor. We could see the light from the hallway shining through into our room because the gaps between the walls and the door was ridiculous. It was a built in night light. No information about the hotel was in the room either. Didn't know who to call or where to get anything. Glad we didn't pay more than what we did. And by the way, the tacky, shiny, red wall paper in the bathroom was terrible. =]
Good size for the price. Great king sized bed, good views even on the fourth floor. Cafe/bar was great - very good coffee. Location is perfect. Right next to Michigan avenue.
The revolving door is a little heavy.
Good stay 10/10
Almost everything was pretty great
Carpet was a little off putting
Seems to be slipping
I've stayed here multiple times over the last few years, and the last couple visits have been mediocre. Check-in has taken too long, staff has been cold and sometimes borderline rude, and the rooms seem to be in an increasing level of disrepair. I think this might have been my last stay at MileNorth. Bummer because the location is great for my typical visits.
Check-in. Rude-ish staff. Rooms need maintenance.
Lobby is nice. Rooms are nice. Parking right across the street at the hospital. Location is great for shopping.
Excellent location right next to shopping on Michigan Ave. Many great restaurants are walking distance. Nice view in the heart of downtown. Great affordable rates. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Our 2 year old daughter was giving hugs to the front desk associates when we would leave. Highly recommended!!!
No pool. Breakfast was not included and breakfast buffet was 14.99 per person.
Great hotel room
Great, spacious hotel room. Very clean.
The TV did not work.
The most thing I like here is the location, which is very convenience. Also, their front desk service is good~
I'm not satisfied with its room service, I ordered hot milk and they sent me the cold milk. Besides, the price of their room service is not worth from my view. So, just don't make room service, or you will be disappointed with its bad taste and unbelievable bill.
Close to great retail stores
The room was clean and extremely comfortable with a modern decor that I like. The location is fantastic.
Location was excellent. Rooms were modern and comfortable.
Noise from the ambulances and construction. Crappy attitude from bar staff on balcony.
I really enjoyed how close it was to everything. The employees were very helpful.
I wish the price of the room included breakfast. There wasn't even complimentary coffee offered in the lobby. I had to pay $2.50. There was a coffee maker in the room but it just isn't the same. Get rid of the coffee makers and have pots of fresh coffee available in the lobby.
Loud, 1st night people shouting 2:30 am in the corridor, 2nd night wake up service in person knocking the doors, once no refill of coffee pads, never replacement of bottles in the bathroom (shampoo etc), before check out I wanted to get ready for my long trip back, but the room service had started cleaning and I found everything misplaced, the bathroom under water, cups on the carpet, no apoligies
Location, location, location! A great hotel for a short break in Chicago -it's very close to Michigan Avenue (1 block) as well as restaurants, bars and nightlife. A really great all round hotel. I would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend it!
Nothing too bad. Just to be aware that it's under renovation, so the facade isn't as attractive as you would expect. But don't be put off, the rooms are beautiful and luxurious with all mod cons.
Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean rooms. A sense of safety and security.
The staff was excellent and very helpful.
The staff was terrific and our room, the only renovated one so far, was ideal.
