Some Staff Forgot They Are There To Provide Hospitality
Check in was slow and delivered in a less than friendly manner. The young woman who registeted me as a guest seemed irritated that she had to help me. She did respond to my request for a really nice room by offering me a VERY AFFORDABLE upgrade to an AWESOME room that was hige, well appointed and very clean. The rooftop restairant staff were very friendly, kind and accomodating.
Despite room service being advertised until 10, when we called at 9:45 we wrre told that the kitchen closed at 9:30 so that the employees could leave at 10. This is obviously a gross misinterpretation of a 10 p.m. close. Any high quality service provider offers full service the entire set of hours of operation.. Nowhere on the menu did it mention a separate kitchen close time. We then ordered drinks and the same employee made it seem like it would be inconvenient for her to call the rooftop bar to order them. When we asked to speak with a manager this same employee tried to represent herself as manager. I find it hard to believe that anyone who had risen to the level of manager in the service industry would be so disintetested in actually providing service to her guests.
Modern Style, a nice change from the standard hotel
mini bar products are priced a bit high
More than I expected!
Everything was great! The staff and the stay! By is officially the only hotel I will stay at when I visit Chicago!
Wonderful hotel and location
Great location and very upscale!!!!! Amazing rooms and quaint little bar in the lobby! Would love to come back in the summer and check out their roof top bar!!!!! We will comeback
I loved the modern rooms and cleanliness of he space. The hotel was convenient to work on Michigan Avenue.
The lighting in the background needs to be upgraded as my co-worker and I who both stayed in different rooms had an issue with putting our makeup on in the morning. Additionally, no one at the front desk could help me with an iPhone 5 charger and gave me the excuse that they had all been lent out. Many of the guests were business men and women, so the hotel should always be prepared with that.
