Cons: The firstt time we were there, the room was a bit tired and need to be redone. The second time there we had a remodeled room that was great.

Cons: The food was good, but very limited choices

Cons: The towel I used in the AM looked like someone had previosly used it for toilet paper. Grossed me out. Not something you'd expect at a higher $ hotel.

Cons: When we arrived after an overnight flight, feeling very tired, the hotel computer was down and we had to wait for a coup[e of hours in the lobby for it to be fixed. The hotel should have made some sort of small gesture to compensate us for this. Also the breakfast included thawed frozen fruit which had turned rancid one day. The next hotel in Bergen had FRESH fruit. like melon, cantaloupe and kiwi. was was cut up and delicious.

Cons: I liked everything about the hotel.

Cons: There were only two, small things that I didn't like about the hotel; the lack of soap for the shower and their system of storing bags should you arrive before your room is available. Usually, hotels will provide a hard bar of soap you can take into the shower or else provide a dispenser for a body wash liquid in the shower. In this case, there was no hard soap available and the body wash liquid dispenser was outside of the shower over the sink requiring you to open the curtain and lean out. Not a big deal. Their storage of your bags if you arrive early is a little curious. The front desk will take your name and check on your room's availability. In the meantime, if you want to store your luggage, the hotel will give you a key card that allows you access to a luggage storage room. You retain this key card until you are formally checked in. Once checked in, your room key will also open the luggage storage room. Unfortunately, everyone else who arrives early also gets a key card. Thus any luggage you've placed into the storage room is now open to everyone else who also gets an access card while waiting for their room as well as those who have a room card. I would think that controlling the access to the "luggage room" to only hotel staff would make more sense from a security perspective.

Cons: Part of staying in the annex is shared bathroom facilities - the only downside. However, this is what you pay for in the cheaper lodging in the annex, so it's definitely a good value.

Cons: The wifi signal in the bedrooms was weak. At night, the area is a bit noisy and in the middle of the red light district.

Cons: No Air Conditioner!?! At the very least, a hotel needs to have Air Conditioning. There was a fan in the room!!

Cons: Would have been good if they were able to provide small snack type meals late afternoon/evenings

Cons: Rooms do not have air conditioner and, while the city's temperature in August was cool, keeping the windows open at night was not an option because of the street noises generated by people. The staff graciously gave us a second room, which was significantly better in terms of noise, but you still could hear people eating breakfast in the garden

Cons: My room didn't come with a breakfast. It's not a big thing, I'm just saying.

Cons: They put us in the Annex rather than the Hotel-- so shared bathrooms and shared shower for 20 rooms (instead of the hotel's usual private bathroom). We had booked via kayak for 'hotel' at their lowest room price ($96), but there was no mention in the booking that it was just for the Annex, so I felt downgraded without notification-- the price was a bit high for a hostel (but not totally unreasonable-- the place is very nice). The Annex is more like a Hostel and was fine for 1 night, but probably not useful for folks who want their own bathroom.

Cons: Nowhere on the website did I find pictures of the part of the hotel where I stayed. Different rooms.

Cons: The smell of house cleaning products didn't work for us. The closed windows did cut street noise very well but then there was a lack of fresh air. Bathtub (small) could use a grab bar. location is in transition. Sex shops across the street but a short walk away are great restaurants and design shopping.

Cons: A false fire alarm went off at 4:30AM the first night of my stay.

Cons: Rooms for a hotel in this category are a bit spartan. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Biggest problem was the noise. It was late September and the weather was not hot, not cold. The hotel had turned on the heat, despite my trying to turn it off. The heat was considerable. I opened the windows to get fresh air and keep the room bearable, but the street noise (all night) was incredibly loud. The hotel is right next to the University, so it was not a surprise as students come home from the bars (until 6am), but it led to a night of little sleep.

Cons: a little rundown; the floors used to be warmed, but the staff removed the switches to warm the tiles... kind of cheap. VERY expensive for what was offered over $40 US for an OK breakfast... but then Denmark is expensive. stay for the location, but don't expect a value

Cons: the air conditioning was not working at all, the hotel was hot and humid and to sleep you had to have the windows open but the road noise was appaling, thooughly uncomfortable night.

Cons: The location is not close to anything. Additionally the beds were too soft and bouncy.

Cons: Far from the city center but it was close to the train so that made up for it.

Cons: There were some minor issues with the room - previous occupant threw stuff down the drain that clogged the sink. I feel cleaning staff should have notified maintenance since it was a significant clog but the staff were incredibly responsive when I reported it. One thing that I didn't care for was the half length glass protection in the shower. I found it took too much effort to not splash water outside the tub.

Cons: Location is a distance from restaurants but is close to a train station.

Cons: Location is on the outskirts of the city so it's about a 15-20 minute walk into the city... We had a problem with our room keys where they didn't work and we had to get new keys at the front desk... This happened twice... and the second time was after breakfast on the day we were checking out... I had to wait about 10 minutes in a line at the front desk to get new keys...

Cons: Front desk staff were a bit brusque (on previous visits, they have been very friendly).

Cons: The hotel rooms were nice but they were a bit small. Our room faced a brick wall so there was no view, nada. When we got to the hotel at 4pm they told us that the room wasn't ready, which was annoying. Aside from that our experience at the hotel was pleasurable.

Cons: the hotel was not in full capacity in low season. the room given to us was all the way in the back next to the dumpster with utilities view. When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.

Cons: Constructions, small rooms and beds, expensive for what is it really, staff are not friendly.

Cons: Housekeeping was very poor. They just make your bed and replace towels...glasses were not replaced. Trash was never emptied. Minibar items never replaced. Also frosted glass door to toilet was strange and awkward. I'm all for open modern design but not where you are sitting on toilet and you can be seen.

Cons: Walls were thin and the door did not shut properly unless pushed hard.

Cons: A bit pricey for the size of the rooms. We had a room with a queen size bed and a pull-out sofa. With the pull-out sofa, there is barely enough room to walk from the door to the window.

Cons: Staffs are unfriendly, no smile for anyone! Trying to up sale to guest upon arrival. I arrived early, room not available til 3p so I asked if they can store my luggage until room is ready they were obviously annoyed by such request.

Cons: I arrived after 12:00 and was told that a room at my level was not available while others were allowed to go to their rooms. I asked if I could be called or texted when it was available, I was told no, I just needed to keep coming back and asking. That is not 4-star service. I found out later from a friend that she was told the same thing, but she told them no, I want a room now, and she was given one. On top of that, the rooms are very small for a 4-star hotel. I won't stay there again.

Cons: The bunk beds are quite small, with very little head room on the lower bunk - I now have a lovely little scar on top of my head!

Cons: There was little storage area in the room, and I was traveling with just a small backpack. Also, the wet room bathroom takes some getting used to, but is fun in its own way.

Cons: Rooms are too small and the shower is extremely small it's actually part of the small bathroom floor. Rooms have no A/C so they are stuffy and hot. Also Windows are hard to open and you can't sleep with the window open because the clock bell goes off every hour and it loud. Also there's no way to turn off all the lights with removing your card from the door switch which powers the room.

Cons: Not necessarily a place to relax. More a base to explore the city from.

Cons: It was not clean. Our coffee pot was disgusting - had something inside of it like someone tried to cook in it? There were hairs on the bed and the shower smelled moldy.
