Price was good
Carpets, walls, lifts etc need cleaning and or renovations
Everything is easy access from this location and in a good area of town.
The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast they served wasn’t like the pictures they advertised. Definitely should put out the food your advertising
Location Plenty of hot water
The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets slipped off the mattress cover. Fought with the bed all night
Great Value In A Great Area
Hotel is well situated two minutes walk from Haymarket Station and maybe 81-10 minutes from the start of Princess Street, surrounded by pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants, a great area to base yourself. Hotel itself is modern, bright and welcoming with comfortable rooms and a terrific breakfast
Small lifts tend to get busy in the mornings, apart from that very happy
Accessible to airport bus stop.
Easily located from Haymarket train or Airport bus stop, approx. 5mins walk. Able to walk to Grassmarket then to Royal Mile etc... 15mins. Restaurant within close proximity.Good security / restricted access to hotel floors - only by key card activation on lift. Staff very pleasant and informative.
Bathroom was clean, but dated, lack of sufficient toiletries, especially if you are restricted to allowance with hand luggage on planes...
Friendly staff, good breakfast. Handy for public transport
Slow check in - no-one seemed to know what they were doing. Room booked for 3 but only made up for 2 (Someone else got to their room and it was already occupied! Keys had to be reset as they stopped opening door. Room cold - none of us slept well.
Friendly staff. Good location
All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful right from reception through to being served for breakfast and the lady that cleaned our room
Everything, food was lovely, breakfast excellent value, rooms clean and comfortable and friendly staff.
Location - walking distance to railway station and city centre shops, restaurants and Usher Hall. Good price point
Nothing - suited us
The Hotel is only 10 minutes walk from Princes Street and very close to the Airlink from the Airport. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The Buffet breakfast was very good and the staff coped very well with the volume of customers, due to the Rugby international at Murrayfield.
The lifts were a bit slow - everything else was good.
The staff were generally sincere and helpful. The breakfast was good.
No free wifi service, a bit inconvenient for guests who want to connect with the office or to check travelling information.
Close to the eicc
Room was quite warm even with a table fan
Clean hotel, friendly staff, comfortable bed, good food
Can be a little noisy in the evenings
location and staff services
the price :-)
Friendly staff and good food
Car park charges - should be inclusive of hotel costs
