Pros: The headline kind of says it all. Usually when I stay at a hotel there's invariably something that goes wrong. I rarely complain, but nevertheless it can leave me with a sour taste in my mouth. But this property has never done anything wrong in my books. This is the second time I've stayed here, and I would definitely recommend it. The lobby is inviting, the restaurant is good, and the rooms are comfortable. No WOW moments, but then again, if you can leave without a single complaint, then there's something to be said for that.

Pros: Great location near restaurants and the boardwalk.

Pros: The overall feel of the hotel was welcoming. Lovely facility and well maintained. Staffing was courteous and pleasant and very helpful. We loved the location and the fact that we could walk along the boardwalk and also walk around the city itself from that point. We were pleasantly surprised by a lovely bottle of Champagne in our room as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. As I said, the staff was fabulous.

Pros: Friendly staff. Fast and efficient maintenance assistance when we needed door locked on adjoining room which had been left opened. Bathroom toiletries were nice quality.

Pros: The layout is terrific, so cosy. All the amenities you could possibly ask for. It's the only hotel for us plus the lovely breakfast is a bonus.

Pros: A nicely designed and finished hotel right downtown and was easy to get everywhere for our visit to Halifax. Employees were very friendly and for the location a great price!

Pros: Check in process was abysmally slow, and even though I had checked in online for one room and prepaid for parking, parking was full so had to find another spot. Fortunately, a public garage is right across the street. Annoying though. The desk clerk said he would credit our bill for the prepayment, but failed to do so. That stated, very pleasant staff and nice facility. Good location. Front desk made a great dinner suggestion for us. So things improved after a rough start.

Pros: Hotel was awesome and very impressed, however the elevators are extremely slow. It took upwards of 10-15 mins at times for us to get up and down to and from the 15th floor.

Pros: good breakfast and great location. Easy access to all site seeing amenities & waterfront attractions. Professional, curteous and efficient service at front desk. Even the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. liked the added security of needing the room card for the parking and the use of the elevator.

Pros: Ideal for the Citadel but not for Waterfront especially if you have difficulty in walking. Lounge area in hotel and facilities in suites good and laundry and fitness area ideal.
