Not bad, but not worth the price.
The location was fantastic for visiting the museum district.
The staff was not well organized and not attentive. The decor was disappointing after having stayed at the Dallas ZaZa.
Luxury/Hip and sexy!!!!!
The overall look and feel of the Hotel .... You feel like a rock star tycoon during your stay.
The attitude, mentality and character of the Concierge.
They Hooked Us Up!
We booked the fantastico suite for $245 and when we arrive and mentioned it was for a birthday the receptionist hooked us up with the Black Label suite that was simply unbelievable. The room must be over $1000 per night. One of the magnificent seven suites. Will certainly stay again! Thanks Zaza fam.
The service was spectacular and well above expectations!
I loved everything!
Hotel Za Za is a beautiful hotel and very luxurious for the money. Old hotel charm with a flair for the creative. Always a wedding or some special occasion going on keeps it lively but not loud. The balconies have some great views. Service is very good and staff very friendly and helpful. Room service was very good but not great. Lovely pool and small spa.
Houston sun is hot and our AC struggled in the afternoon sun. We even had it looked at but it didn't seem to help. Blackout curtains do keep light out but evidently not the heat. Still the view was spectacular from 8th floor.
Great hotel, needs some cleaning
Interesting design, fun rooms, great staff
Musty carpets, smoked-in rooms, mediocre room service
The car service. Truly great. Location as well. Food is good. Massage was great.
ZaZa has changed. You will find lots of drunk business men at the bar and hookers. Not fun when you travel alone for business and art. The staff seems to be more occupied with themselves then you.
breakfast was too expensive
spatious room, interrior and friendly staff.
The wireless internet connection was not good, lost the signal most of the time. The food in the restaurant is overpriced unless you go on days that they have special deals.
Friendly staff, very unique room, and most comfortable hotel bed I've ever stayed in.
The interior design of the hotel and the rooms. I may be biased because i was a lucky customer and got a free upgrade to a suite that was so great. I didn't see the rest of the rooms but if they are a fraction of what the suite was, its great.
I was a little alarmed that upon my return from a day out, i came to my room at night and found all the pillows off my bed, sippers on the bed and candles lit. I know it was the staff making me feel comfortable so i would necessarily say it was a bad thing but i was scared when i walked in and saw candles lit and my room rearranged as i was not yet sure it was the hotel staff.
The hotel was in a prime spot in Houston and close to everything! They had a shuttle that would take you to some great restaurants and other places that were in a 5 mile radius. We stayed with my two year old and the housekeeping staff and others were great.
The staff at the front desk could use a little customer service skills. They were a bit snooty when we checked in. There are items in the room in the cash bar that are strictly for adults. There was a special at the spa, buy one get one free, I booked a massage for my husband and I, which I confirmed was one of the services on the special, but there are no guidelines written down, and they failed to tell me that the special only applies to the same person so I got charged twice instead of getting it free. Not cool.
