Free extras including children-sized bathrobes and activity packs make this one of Leicester’s most kid-friendly hotels. The Premier Inn on St Georges Way, located in the eastern part of the city centre, also has family rooms, with breakfast free for up to two kids and a restaurant with a kids’ menu.

The City Rooms are situated slap bang on Hotel Street, with four chic boutique-style bedrooms in a heritage building that is within a 2-minute walk of the visitor centre. Within the same distance is the budget-friendly Castle Park Hotel, a red brick-terraced house tucked away on Millstone Way and offering stylishly designed bedrooms and a free continental breakfast.
