Great location but annex rooms horribly small.
Great location near Victoria Station.
We got a room in an annex area across the street from the main building. It was very small and would likely deserve different ratings than the rooms in the main house. A bit of a bait and switch. Certainly did not look like the rooms advertised on their website.
Charming boutique hotel
Wonderful stay, lovely unique rooms, great location was very close to everything but in a slightly quieter residential location, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, couldn't have been happier
Room didn't have a shower, only bathtub, but that was fine for me. If I was travelling with my tall husband we would need to make sure we got a room with a shower. Floor level doors could have been marked. It is very hard trying to find something negative about it!
the location- very close to Victoria Coach Station and Subway
no particular aspect
it was conveninet to Victoria, breakfast satisfactory
nearest toilet on floor below, nearest shower two floors above and it took 3 efforts to get correct directions to these facilites from staff, very poor facilities, hotel needing serious upgrade
location close to Victoria bus station
Internet system was out, satalite television was not functioning, and thin walls so very noisy.
within walking distance to Victoria station, quiet road. Acceptable for one night.
rooms are very small, difficult to adjust room temperature. Small breakfast buffet, choosing english breakfast is the better choice, although I have to admit that I had better ones.
The location was excellent - very close to Victoria Station - easy walking distance even with baggage!
Climbing the stairs with baggage was difficult.
The comfort of the beds, the showers, and the full English breakfast.
no fan in room
The English Breakfast
The proximity to Victoria coach station and bus links. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.
The toilet and washing facilities were cramped. The washing basin was chipped and spotty. Worst of all was the sound proof. We could hear people talking next door and tv noises. Our next door neighbours had the tv on until 3.30 in the morning and switched on again at 6.30 a.m.
Georgian House was originally built as a private residence in 1851 then converted to a luxury boutique bed and breakfast in 1950 and remains a popular destination in London. Nestled in the neighborhood of Victoria among other period houses, the Georgian House is a pleasant surprise for travelers.
The bed and breakfast hotel is conveniently located in Victoria, with proximity to Victoria Station, Victoria Palace Theatre, Pimlico Station, and Apollo Victoria Theatre. Other popular tourist destinations include Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament. Local transit and shopping destinations are also a short car drive away.
There are few offering at the hotel. The Georgian House is more known for a comfortable place for travelers looking to explore the historic and convenient local area. The on-site features are a small gift shop, 24-hour reception desk, and a dining area which offers made-to-order breakfast and courtyard seating.
All of the 62 accommodations at the Georgian House are unique and include décor from old-fashioned wallpaper and original fireplaces to black and white strips. Most of the rooms offer contemporary elements and traditional touches, but all feature a flat-screen TV, a coffee and tea station, free WiFi, and a desk. The sizes of the rooms range from full apartments to single units. Families enjoy the fun Wizard Chamber, a Harry Potter-themed room with traveler trunks, cauldrons, and potion bottles. The rooms are dorm-style, with showers located outside of the room for multiple guests to use. The Belgravia Rooms are the only rooms with a private bedroom, bathroom, and living area.
Conveniently located near public transportation and tourist destinations, the Georgian House is a great location for couples, singles, or tourists looking for an intimate setting on a quiet street.
