This hotel was very near Earls Court Tube Station and was a reasonable price. The bed was comfortable and we slept well during our stay. It was surprisingly quiet considering the proximity of the main road.
First impressions were not good, with shabby, threadbare carpet throughout and several mattresses, covered with a sheet stored on the landing. Our room was cold on arrival despite the winter temperatures outside, but the heating was turned on when we asked at Reception. However, on two subsequent nights the heating in the room was off on our return, but again turned on when we aked at Reception. Television reception very poor, almost unwatchable, and there were no facilities in the room to make tea/coffee. Dreadful throwaway white plastic beakers in bathroom and for juice at breakfast. Breakfast poor - cold, plastic toast, minimum tea and coffee - requests for top-ups were not welcomed. The full length wardrobe door which should have been fastened with 4 hinges was only held in place by two hinges.
Desk staff helpfull; acceptable breakfast provided; good location near to a high street and tube station so very good for travelling into central London. Good standard of cleanliness
Hotel is very worn and in need of refurbishment. My room/bathroom had very old decor compared to the photographs, the room itself was very cold (but an electric heater is provided) and the double bed had a large dip in the mattress and needs replacing. A small kettle to make tea or coffee in the room would have been handy.
perfect location for tourist trip + cheap parking [£15/day]
no heating till 6pm... bad windows = cold inside [but great for summer]
The included breakfast was nice, but mostly a no frills clean room with a great location.
Climbing stairs wasn't the greatest, but not bad at all given the price.
Bathroom was good.
The staff where accomodating to our needs. Our room was up many stairs and we had a baby with all of the things that come along with her. They allowed us to leave the stroller and a large suitcase on the first floor so we would not have to take it up and down the stairs all the time.
The many stairs to get just to the second floor.
Good location, quiet
Room crowded with 2 double beds
Good location and easy to work our way around the hotel
Rooms were smaller than expected and the bathroom was very cramped with a sliding door because of the lack of space
Hotel seemed dirty, rooms were not up to stardards. The toilet had urine when I checked in, bed's boxspring was in full view. The door lock was broken. Carpet was very old and seemed dirty.
Clean, late check in, good hot shower.
A bit run down, needs investment.
