Great location and staff; issues with other parts of stay
Location, friendly staff, decent breakfast; would recommend asking Miguel for a ride to places as it is a decent fee and he's cool, has a good/safe car and he'll take you wherever you want for the day, not just to the tourist sites.
Internet didn't work or worked poorly, even my data worked poorly inside the hotel; was unclear whether room came with breakfast or not; no heating or cooling so the nights were cold (visited in February); the towels are clearly 10 years old and need to be replaced
Room was clean and the maid left bottled water.
The wi-fi sometimes didn't work well and there was construction on the building next door which some times could be loud.
Very friendly clerks
Great staff including service employees, pleasant atmosphere, comfortable bed, restaurant/bar, and location.
Detail cleaning, everyday one thing extra could have been cleaned, i.e. wiped down lamps, dust top of TV cabinet, wipe walls in well used areas, and clean the curtains.
This is an excellent 3star hotel! Everyone that is working here is extremely nice, especially the reception staff! I had a long stay here (25days) and they made is as smooth as possible. The breakfast is excellent... 9 different warm dishes every morning, in addition to fresh fruits, breads, and cereals. The cleaning ladies cleaned the rooms thoroughly every day. The location is excellent. It is just 2 blocks off Insurgentes, and in the Zona Rossa, which makes this hotel in the safer areas of Mexico City. Advise... some rooms are view challenged... they overlook a wall, but these rooms are extremely quiet. I slept so well in a room like that! I have only excellent things to say about this hotel, and the price is fabulous!
Unstable Internet connection (sometimes) but the staff worked constantly to improve it!
I like the location and also staff, they were great and really helpful. Is possible to change euros on the desk also USD. Breakfast was very rich and tasty.
Helpful staff, breakfast was very good, comfortable room.
When I arrived at the hotel I was told they did not have a room for me for that night (even though I had booked it in advance) and I had to stay in a hotel 10 mins drive which was a little inconvenient as my friends were staying at Hotel del Principado. They paid for my taxi to and from the other hotel but did not offer any other compensation for the inconvenience.
Great Hotel and Great location
It is in an excellent location, near the Zona Rosa, the Chapultepec park and the Insurgentes subway station.
good hotel location in the zona rosa, especially the private parking lot comes in handy when you've rented a car (not very keen on leaving the car outside at night). very friendly staff and clean room. was 845MXN pesos or 45€ for 1night including good breakfast buffet, which is about 30 to 50percent more than similar hotels we visited outside Mexico City, but maybe this is related to prices being higher in the capital?
I enjoyed the quality of the bed and room and the attitude of the staff - and the breakfast. I was very pleased with my experience there and would be happy to book a stay there again. This isn't a luxury hotel and it isn't a hostel. It is comfortable.
the staff gave me the information on what I needed
Yes, there was a weird smell in my room, like a tipical substance that is used against insects or rats. But really strong. And I could not graduate the temperature of the room.
I found the staff friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was able to speak English or call someone who could. I had set aside 50 pesos for the cleaning woman who took care of my room but found it missing and when I asked about it, was given my money back by management. This is unusual and shows a real effort to be a family-like hotel.
Very friendly and nice staff. Good service.
