Cons (-) Not for older couples or families, this does not include me but it is a forewarning. I didn't know gratuity would be added automatically until I arrived at my first day. But I was advised on the first day. The cleaning ladies were on time and did a great job, so gratuity was worth it.

Pros (+) The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. It's across the street from the beach. On Kayak this looks like a beautiful luxury hotel, but quickly upon arriving you realize it only looks like that from a distance and they have an amazing photographer for their site photos.
Cons (-) Kayak was great but Breakwater is a sleezy lemon. Upon our arrival at 1 am Saturday we were tired and eager to get to our room. The receptionist strongly persuaded us to upgrade to a much more expensive room for $180 + tax so it would be quiet. Cons (-) Place is dirty. Stayed there in the past around 2 years ago and had a great experience. Place Has not been kept up. Rugs dirty, bathroom wall stained with something I would rather not mention. When checked in was told we got upgraded to Penthouse at no charge.
