Opulent hotel, nice respite
Pricey
Simply excellent
All the staff were nice and polite Spotless rooms - cleaned x2/day Attention to detail Top quality food Loved the chauffeur service to the town centre (free service x3/hr!) Will definitely stay there again
NA
Gorgeous hotel with a rich history
Everything about the hotel and the stay.
Nothing I didn't like
Shuttle service to shopping area (very convenient when carrying a lot of bags) close to train station, delicious breakfast
Spa at hotel is overpriced and has mediocre spa service, otherwise hotel is fantastic!
This is the quality a hotel is supposed to deliver
Amazing service, incredibly thoughtful staff, and beautiful surroundings are expected at this hotel. 5 star service, 5 star price. Make sure you work out a way to include breakfast, as it is expensive, but divine. Be wary about the high valet prices. Overall, you pay for what you get and this property does not disappoint.
High valet prices.
A great true five star hotel. Excellent and knowledgeable concierge. Location is outside of the Montepoleone shopping district so a nice oasis to come home to at pIazza Republica. Great part was frequent Benz stretch limo pickup and drop off from the hotel to La Scala/ Duomo and Montepoleone area -- that was extreme helpful with kids. Had an upgrade which was appreciated and not asked for. Breakfast were absolutely excellent and included in our price. Champagne, full hot foods and fresh fruits and pastries. Will definitely be back!!
My only minor tif was pool was closed for renos. Minor and everything was to our or beyond our expectations.
Room decor
Breakfast prices were ridiculously high and quality was horrible. They also rip you off. We dined a la carte for breakfast the first day but were charged for the super high priced buffet. The good itself was horrible. Second morning all we had was juice , crossaint and coffee and were once again ripped off. This hotel is a rip off. Only good for business people billing their companies. Hotel was not even able to correct our charges during check out leaving us a bet other taste of being ripped off.
Great Hotel, great staff
Very curteous concierge staff and personnel in general. Very clean.
for us not much was positive about this hotel unfortunately, we would definitely not go to this hotel ever again
overpriced for five star hotel, poor hygiene in jacuzzi (growing mold on the side), tv did not work at first, nothing included in the initial room rate, exorbitant extra costs like 120 euros per night for pets (!!!), 22 euros or more per day for simple internet use, reception then also tried to charge us 20 euros extra per day for the already included buffet breakfast (the excuse was that american breakfast costs more than the continental breakfast, which was not advertised on the internet), taxi and concierge staff at the hotel entrance making fun and jokes about hotel clients in italian (unfortunately we understand italian very well...), tiny rooms, car key is taken away with or without the hotel client's permission and car is far away.
- Luxury.
- The Value.
all was excellent
Very upscale with an attentive and helpful staff. The facilities and decor are kept in impeccable shape. The hotel is near the train station and there is a limo service to Piazza Duomo.
Room service, mini-bar, and restaurant seemed excessively expensive, as is the charge for internet service.
High grade of services, perfect employees, nice room
Concierge service was top notch; bar was gorgeous and lively in old world style; top line luxury hotel.
Location was a bit out of the way, but still within walking distance of city center (and the hotel provides complementary car service, but only at certain times)
nothing of notes
building lot, noise, there wasn`t information concerning closed swimming-pool at your website chip decorative lining is used along with antiques there isn`t very considerate staff at the reception
The quality of service, food and accom
The swimming pool and fitness gym was closed for refurbishment
In a way we feel we did not stay in the Hotel Principe Di Savoia but in a separate, lesser quality annex building. We did not get the experience we expected or paid for.
As above.
