Good breakfast. Good water pressure & Temp in shower. Great towels.
Tired bathtub. Lack of outlets in room
The music arts on the lobby
Rooms were not clean with patched wallpapers and stained carpets. Bathrooms were musty and obviously not properly cleaned nor sanitized. The curtains would not open and were so dusty that everyone in the room were sneezing all night. We had to checkout and cut our stay then move to another cleaner hotel. This is definitely not a four star hotel. Two stars is more likely.
Front desk staff were friendly. Free parking and shuttle to town, though the frequency was longer than the stated every half hr. We only had one meal in the restaurant late at night and the wait staff was not sufficient but were friendly and the food was good.
The hotel charged me an extra $46.30 mystery charge at 3:30 in the morning on top of the $50 hold. Went to the front desk the next morning to inquire what it was for and she said it was a mistake and she removed it but 3 days later it is still pending. The Big complaint is the water. In the mornings and at night there is no hot water, so you can't shower unless you like cold showers. Plus the water pressure must be 200 psi and the tubs drain can't handle the massive flow. If you you took an extended shower the rising 6"s of water in the shower gave me the feeling it would overflow the tub. The crazy water flow is very waste full of their limited hot water supply. Lastly, the elevator takes forever to come to the floor to go down, so be prepared to wait and wait.
Clean, Good Price, Decent Location
Facility (especially bathrooms) are clean but a little aged
Room was very dated (worn furniture) and did not feel particularly clean. Plus half of the treadmills/bikes were broken in the gym.
Good for Price.
Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Restaurant wasn't too pricey!! Food was great too! One of the maids was also extremely polite to us getting us more than enough fresh towels when we asked and offered us plenty of other things. Second time I've stayed here and I know I'll stay here again in the future when I come back to Nashville!!
My only problem was our shower sprayed everywhere (outside of the tub) and got water onto the floor and outside the bathroom. Apparently started to leak into the room underneath us so while my friend was showering, a maintenance man came to our room and yelled at me. Basically saying, "how is your friend showering, because if it's pointed to the wall that will leak." To which my response was, "well shouldn't it not be leaking?" He was very rude and then he disappeared and I have not heard from him the rest of my stay.
Very friendly staff, the shuttle was amazing and saved an uber trip, location is close enough to downtown and also close to some outskirts places like Antique Archiology. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. The lady in the gift shop was very nice and helpful. One of my better stays in Nashville for a night out.
The bathroom is a bit dated but it was clean, you can see the age in some of the areas but on my floor it was clean.
The staff were horrid. The hotel is filthy it smells. No carts for luggage no service no help. Disgusting. One of the worst stays of my life.
The Sewer Smell Hotel
Not a thing.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The Fourier smelled like sewer and every night about midnight the rooms started to wreak of sewer. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom like it hadn't been cleaned. When we got home to unpack our suitcase and all its contents smelled of the stench. So gross.
declined over last 2 years
Proximity to downtown Nashville and hockey
Needs a major update on appearance. Rooms were poorly cleaned, toilet took multiple flushes just to get TP to go down, vending machines only had beverages and shuttle service limited due to a call-off so we had to drive downtown and park on Saturday night.
The front desk had my information wrong and the wrong dates for my stay. When pointed out they were rude and a first refused to change them. Luckily I had my confirmation email. The bathroom was first as well.
Weekend in Nashville
Free shuttle downtown every 30 minutes
Toilet was visibly not cleaned, blanket on bed looked like it had orange juice spilled on it. I called the front desk immediately upon check in and they said they could send up housekeeping "soon". I explained we were in a rush and they responded with no sense of urgency. They front desk actually said cant you just get ready anyway if the toilet isn't clean. I explained my concern was what was actually cleaned in the room if you could tell from the surface that somethings were dirty. I had to find a manager to get service, he did respond promptly.
It was in a good location for our needs. Great view of the downtown skyline.
The room especially the bathroom was not as clean as I would like. The bottom sheet was either too small or not fit properly. It rolled up during the night and I found myself sleeping on the bare mattress.
The room was very clean and inviting and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quick ride to downtown (10 minutes) and the airport (20?).
The shuttle was somewhat understaffed and I wound up needing to cab to downtown for a meeting even having planned 45 minutes in advance. And surprisingly the coffee in the restaurant was awful. I would have expected better from the real Maxwell House.
Shuttle service and extremely helpful staff
The pool was nice.
Everything went wrong. The hotel didn't have our reservation and even threw is out when we got upset that they didn't even let us to use the Internet free of charge to prove that we had a pre-paid (!) reservation. We had to drive to the nearest Starbucks for the Internet and then they finally but not eagerly gave us a room from the first floor with a very noisy air-conditioner! For the breakfast they only give one coupon per room and again we had to fight for our rights to get the breakfast for both of us as we had paid for. Can't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Staff members were okay
The hotel is not where I would stay again. It is worn down pretty bad. The rooms reminded me of a "Budget" type "motel". The carpet was worn and stained throughout the entire room. I have plans to returned back to the "Hilton" family type hotels. obtw- they charge for everything....meaning the little extra stuff that many other hotels give away. I am on the road about 5 months out of a given. The extra stuff is what makes me come back to those locations when back in that area.
very helpfull staff and pool area
It was an ideal choice for us especially having just flown across the Pond taking nearly 20 plus hours. It was close enough to Nashville airport but not too close. Would definitely use the hotel again.
The staff was very helpful and courteous.
The fact that there was no restaurant that stayed open until late at night.
the manager Michelle was awasome!!!! the
yes!!!! the head house keeper for room 322 she was rude!!!! there was a function on sat nov 7, 2009 and the guest parking lot was full my daughter went to park the car when one of the hotel front desk staff stated and he yelled at her and told her to move i went to speak to him and explained that we were told to park there he said "i dont care you must move and if you cant find a spot you have to park on the street" im a guest from beaufort sc and this is how he spoke to me well i went in and spoke to michelle and she moved her car so that i would have a parking space and wouldnt be towed away on the day of my brothers weeding sun nov 8,2009 the housekeeper kept comming to the room asking us when were we leaving when i spoked to the frontde
Comfort of room, big TV, view of the city from the room, their restaurant
Charging to use high-speed Internet.
