Our room had an amazing view. This hotel is perfectly situated on the edge & within walking distance of the French Quarter, street car, etc. Beds were really comfy. Liked the efficiency of the elevators (pressing what floor you want to go to on the outside rather than up & down) as floors were grouped together
Honestly for a hotel of this price & quality I would expect a larger bathroom. It was barely big enough for 1 person. The ceiling was also very low in the bathroom causing me to bump into it several times while doing average tasks.
Getting upgraded to Max club access
Having information where the elevators were on every floor
Staff is incredible. View from room was great
Bathroom was disgusting...hair from previous guest, bathtub filled up with water. Elevator is a joke...takes forever
Central location right near Bourbon St and friendly staff
Hotel would not allow later check out and maids were knocking on our door at 930 am. Be sure to put privacy sign on door if you want to sleep in.
Room was musty smelling
To many drunks
Fantastic Stay at Marriott New Orleans
Great service, attentive, comfortable bed with fantastic views of the city from huge windows in the room. The room itself was nice and large and came equipped with a coffee maker and small fridge. Bathroom could use some updating (tub/shower) but was certainly adequate with decent amount of counter space. We didn't eat in the onsite restaurant, but did have cocktails and snacks at the bar. Great time there with drinks made to order and delicious small plates to share. The bar staff were friendly, served impeccable drinks and couldn't have been more accommodating. Hotel also has a Starbucks inside with full service and selection as you would find in an offsite Starbucks store. Loved our stay at the Marriott on Canal Street and can't wait to return!!
Bathroom tub could use updating
The Bed was very comfortable, liked the linens too.
A/c was intense when on, room got muggy when off. Specifically called to say we were arriving late, special occasion, could we be not near the elevator. We were put right next to the bank of elevators and had to listen to them all night.
I like that we upgraded to the corner room on the 35th floor.
We stay from Saturday til Monday. This was during the time of the potential threat of Hurricane Nate. Luckily the hurricane did not hit New Orleans. Sunday our room was never clean, nor did we receive any new towels. I called down to the desk (3) and no answer. This was disappointing.
Location was great facilities well-maintained kid-friendly has a pool and it has a gym
The restaurant food was underwhelming was overpriced drinks were very expensive. Hotel elevators took a very long time for you to be able to get one and get to your floor and hotel staff seems confused or unable to do anything when asked. Phone was very difficult to get ahold of someone from your hotel room when you're calling the direct line operator or valet
Nice hotel and location
Good price, really liked the option to earn rewards for not having room cleaned by staff for duration of stay, location, and bag storage
No kitchen appliances in room, expensive breakfast
