Friendly staff and everything you need when traveling for business—workout room, good bed, nice bathroom, timely made service. For the price compared to the name brand hotels in this part of NYC, it is a no brainer
Room without a view
The room was large for a New York hotel room, had a large shower, and comfortable bed. Location was great for what we wanted, and the price was good. Was also close to restaurants.
There was no fridge or coffee maker. The materials and paint job seemed rushed, and of low quality. The shower was large and had great pressure, but the water got all over the bathroom, and the shower curtain was light enough to be be sucked towards you from the pressure of the water. We had to place the shower chair just right for it to stop.
Conveniently located. Not special.
Hotel is well located. Clean and orderly. Room is big for hotel of this class in NY.
It looks like they took a few older buildings that might have been some old apartment buildings or offices and converted it to a hotel. As a result is the access to my room was down some small windowless hallways. The floor layouts were confusing. View was to a fire escape. Could see only a small quadrant of sky.
The location is great! The hotel is clean, but the room was hot, air conditioner claimed it was 66 it was no where near it! The hotel bar hours were not great either. On a Saturday it opened at 5 pm closed at 10. We had dinner reservations so drankbat a bar nearby. Wanted to have a drink after broadway bar was already closed. Hallways in hotel were very warm and felt claustrophobic.
The hotel was clean and quiet. The location was excellent for my purposes. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great value, amazing location - A++
This hotel was very reasonably priced with such a close proximity to subway and Central Park. The rooms were very clean. Staff was amazingly helpful and kind.
I was a little shocked with how small the bathroom was, particularly the vanity/sink area. The view from windows was just a brick wall area.
The Shoreham needs a facelift!
Great stay for a holiday overnight.
Close to local attractions, clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, if you're just looking for a comfy place to sleep this is it.
Slightly outdated, could use cosmetic touch ups, carpet smelled funny, no wifi.
Two night stay at shoreham
The location was actually great. It's right in the middle of everything. Also the staff were pretty helpful and friendly. The bedding felt clean and fresh. The bathroom seemed clean.
I definitely did not like the size of the room. The advertising photos did no justice to how small the rooms actually were. The room consisted of a bathroom and room with a bed. A room of which had about a foot of space all the way around. The bathroom was almost half the hotel room honestly. Also the mattress was stiff, having us wake up sore the next morning. There was no microwave, no refrigerator, and no coffee maker. These are some of the standard items I see in every hotel we stay at, except Shoreham. I would have paid $90 to stay here. Not $150...
The staff we interacted with were professional and very friendly, and were the redeeming feature of this establishment.
The room appointments were odd (microfiber wall covering?), shoddy, in poor repair, and seemed unclean. I would not recommend this hotel to others.
Loved the location of the hotel, and the complimentary coffee and snacks. The room size was adequate for our needs, as we were only in our room to sleep. There was minimal noise from outside, and we had enough space for our belongings. The safe in the room was an added plus.
The bed was very uncomfortable, and was almost as hard as the floor. Even in our exhausted state, we had trouble sleeping. Several of the staff, including the front desk and cafeteria staff, were brusque and tired of hearing questions or concerns. The other staff were friendly and partially compensated for this. In the end, it was a pleasant stay, but the friendliness of the staff could be improved.
Location, room decor.
Charges for wifi, and it's very slow.
The location in Mid-town and room comfort are top here....average room rates are on the ridiculous side.
The lobby is not very inviting, but the breakfast is very good.
Great location, good rate, courteous staff, nice bed linens, nice bath products, courtesy cappucino machine in the lobby.
Very small room, no lock on bathroom door, carpet seemed dirty, mattress was old (two people sink to the middle), inferior hair dryer
cool looking rooms, great location steps from central Park and massage chairs in room
bathroom had an odd odor, rooms looked dated and worn
Noyhing in this hotel
Yhe rooms are to smale the loby nothing restorant nothing I dont recomend this hotel
The location is very good ! The service at the reception was very nice and quick fixing issues !
I had specifically requested a smoking room and they had no record of this and there wasn't one available. The bathroom was probably the smallest that I have ever seen in my life anbd the rooms were so dark.
I expected a bigger room
The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean.
I thought the price was expensive for the size of the room. It was quite small.
