Loved the staff, decor and location
We were in town for Halloween. We could walk everywhere. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. We took advantage of the Equinox gym pass.
Wish the food, drinks & coffee in the lobby and outside food yruch was cheaper. Some kind of complimentary breakfast or coupon would bring the Highline more in line with competing hotels.

Gorgeous building and terrace. Lots of light in the room. Unique wallpaper. Decorative fireplace. High ceilings. Vintage phone. Comfy bed, nice linen and towels. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. Great baristas at Intelligentsia.
Broken glass in window. Damaged plaster on ceiling from water leak. Broken, stained and soiled curtain in the bath window. The rooms could definitely use some love.
About
Overview
Chelsea is one of the more interesting and unique neighborhoods on Manhattan. The historic High Line Hotel dates back to the mid nineteenth century and exemplifies the stunning history of the area. The 60-guest room has a feeling of peace and tranquility that is hard to find in the bustling borough.
Seeking to hearken to the past, the rooms at the High Line Hotel feel classically elegant and comfortable. Filled with natural light, the rooms are bright, which makes the hardwood floors and locally sourced furniture pop. Standard rooms range from 200 to 300 square feet and are well appointed with luxury bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi, and deluxe bath amenities. The signature room at the hotel is the High Line Suite, showcasing a library and decorative fireplace.
Dedicated to guests enjoying the charms of Chelsea, the hotel offers free Shinola bicycles. These bikes are perfect for enjoying the surroundings, including the landmark Hudson River Park. Dogs are allowed in every room of the hotel so they can perfect for the excursions to the park. Back at the hotel, there are entertainment options as well, including a show every weekend by The Enigmatist, certain to bedazzle guests.
The High Line also offers a gourmet Intelligentsia coffee service from a classic Citroen truck. After the coffee service ends, The Bar at the High Line Hotel opens ready to offer guests craft cocktails.
Beautifully in tune with Chelsea’s history, the High Line Hotel offers relaxation amidst the hustle and bustle.
