Loved this hotel!
Service was magnificent! Every single employee we encountered were genuinely kind and concerned with how we felt! True hospitality being practiced here. The room we had was a suite 1 bedroom with a pull out sofa. Attention to detail was evident throughout the room and hotel. It was super clean and very spacious (bathroom was s little smaller than we'd have liked). Rooftop bar and grill was amazing! Empire restaurant attached to the hotel was also amazing with food and service! Overall, I cannot give enough praise to this wonderful hotel. Loved it that much.
The only negative was I waited a bit when I got to the hotel at the checking desk before I was even acknowledged. But everything after this completely changed my initial perception. Only one elevator working while they work on upgrading the other so it took a little longer to get the elevator but wasn't too long of a wait.
Poor elevator service, no view from our room.
the rooms were great, spacious. there was a kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave
Very spacious well equipped rooms. Great breakfast in the formidable penthouse 31st floor with a great view.
Beautiful decor, very comfortable, good sized room, friendly staff. When they knew we were coming for my birthday, they upgraded us from a room to a suite at no extra cost. Location is fantastic, close to everything.Would definitely recommend and will be returning for sure.
No kettle in kitchen.
Best room I have ever had in New York, large clean and bright with a good size bathroom with a bath. The bar on the roof has amazing views of the city and is very pretty
You cannot get a room before 3pm and even at 3pm they keep you waiting a further half an hour
The space of the suite.
The bathroom is outdated.
view from balcony overlooked dirty extractor fans
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kimberly Hotel. We found all the staff to be helpful and our suite was absolutely perfect for our wedding anniversary. The bed was too die for and very comfortable. The kitchenette was suitable for our needs and allowed us too store some food and drink in the fridge. The rooms were cleaned daily even though we didnt leave our room till after midday. The rooftop bar is also a lovely place to unwind at the end of the evening. An all round excellent hotel and we highly recommend staying here.
The cleaning wasn't good enough. The day of departure they knocked on our door at 8.45 am to ask when we would leave the room. That isn't good when you have the room until 12 on the departure day.
