Pros: Great value, comfortable. Perfect for a place to crash after spending all day in the city.
Pros: Check in time takes almost two hours
Pros: Rooms were recently remodeled, or at least mine was. Nicely done with some exposed brick, wood floor, tasteful art and fixtures, great bed, big screen TV. Shared bathroom was also freshly and tastefully done, and clean.... But SHARED. I think they may have some rooms w private baths for more $. They were working on the hallways during my stay, but I don't see how they can fully update vintage structure with its narrow halls and losing stairway.
Pros: It was one block from where we needed to go the most often. My husbands favorite coffee place was next door. (Petite abelle). The staff was friendly and helpful. And the room was newly renovated with high ceilings and a very pretty contemporary style. The bed was comfortable.
Pros: In general it appeared to be a nice place.
Pros: I asked for a refund and left 4 hours after I got there.
Pros: The renovated rooms were very nice, however, they had been recently painted and the fumes were overwhelming, so I was transferred to one of the older, non-renovated rooms. Although the bed and furnishings were new (sheets, pillows and wall mounted TV, the walls (paint and plaster) and carpet were what you would expect in a no-tell motel. Also, most of the rooms "shared" a bathroom. Your bedroom had it's own door and you had to leave your room to go into a bathroom which was used by another room. It worked out fine. Still, it is a great value ($65/night booked in advance) for the location! There's a cute french cafe next to it for breakfast and you're never in the room (very small as most NYC hotel rooms) anyway.
Pros: Breakfast was good from the bakery down stairs - choice of pastry, a piece of fruit and a coffee and the lady there is lovely!
Pros: I can highly recommend a stay at the Chelsea Inn. Lot's of stairs but a great room for a good price. Union square and Broadway is close by and you can easly walk to Little Italy or Chinatown!
Pros: The hotel is affordable for New York City. It is clean, tidy and attractive. There are no extras, but the price is right.
Pros: Chelsea Inn is literally 50 feet from 5th ave in awesome walking distance to everything. great location.
Pros: Centrally located
Pros: Location, price, decor, workout of daily walks up multiple flights of stairs, sharing a bathroom was not as bad as I thought it was going to be
Pros: Good location in Chelsea.
Pros: Easy access to Union Square area and West Village area where my daughter lives.equals("")
Pros: very good location.equals("")

Pros: Great location in the theater district. Bed was ok. Suitable for student or adventurous young couple looking for cheap accomodations in high rent area.
Pros: close to street to take taxi. thats it. equipments were working: air conditioning, fridge, tv, etc
Pros: 1) When I requested a room change (after being angry for 30 minutes), they finally let me change to a room with a working air conditioner. This room was slightly bigger and had a view of Times Square, which wasn't too bad. If I didn't have to go through the giant headache of having a crappy room in the first place, I would have given them 2 stars instead of 1.
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Pros: Location was convenient
Pros: Nothing at all
Pros: Staff was really nice! place located really close to times square which was good.
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, trying to ensure all my needs were met. Excellent location.
Pros: Helpful staff and cleanliness of the room
Pros: Location and staff behavior
Pros: The Location & The staff were very helpful
Pros: the hotel staff
Pros: the staff at the front desk, very helping and nice
Pros: Free internet, WiFi and computer near the reception, good stuff.
Pros: Free internet service
Pros: The location.
