Great location. Comfortable rooms. Bar staff was very efficient.
Staff needs to be trained better. Could not provide recommendations for restaurants around. Breakfast plan was confusing. Staff made mistakes and brought out wrong order.
Awesome end-of-summer getaway.
I decided to take a quick Labor Day weekend vacation and the Aloft Downtown Philadelphia was amazing. You can’t beat the price (especially for the location), and everything was so lovely: the lobby bar is fabulous, the desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The AC unit was definitely a bit loud, but worth it just to have powerful and working air conditioning! I will definitely be staying here again.
Great location for the convention center
I was at a conference at the convention center, and this was such a convenient place to stay -- it's essentially *in* the convention center, without feeling too close. Very comfortable place, attentive staff, and well styled.
Bed was just a little uncomfortable, and the placement of the bathroom in the room was also a little awkward. The door is a slider and doesn't fully close -- and is also effectively right next to the bed. So, that was a little awkward when one of us was in the bathroom and the other was right outside.
Centrally located in Center City and near top historic destinations, Aloft Philadelphia Downtown is walking distance from City Hall and the Liberty Bell at Independence Hall. Relax in our boutique-style lobby in the beautifully-restored Liberty Title & Trust Company building or venture out to explore masterpieces at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Get down to business at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, adjacent to our hotel for quick access. After attending a conference, debrief with your coworkers in one of our meeting spaces and print your notes in our business center. We offer a 24-hour grab-and-go eatery with self-serve options when you need a snack, plus a new full-service Starbucks, and W YXZ Bar serving craft cocktails and small bites. Lounge in your soft bed when it's time to retire for the evening. Once you're settled in and comfortable, access Netflix and Hulu on our HDTVs or use our plug-and-play hub for entertainment. Experience an extraordinary stay in style at Aloft Philadelphia Downtown.
